Yep. Just because a chick is a dime (and usually when people say dime they are talking about physical appearance) doesn't mean she's wifey material. You may want to make sweet sweet beast with two backs with her, but you don't want to be around her otherwise.

A dime is just a 10. It's only about looks in that regards.

A bad ***** is just a good looking girl. She could be a dime too, but she doesn't have to be.

Wifey material is all about personality and what she does. She can be as ugly as E.T. but still be wifey material if she does all the things you want in a wife.

I have a question. Do black people not like "adventure" sports? Like mountain/downhill biking, skiing, skydiving, base jumping, etc etc? I think a comedian covered this topic before, but I'm curious what the average black person would say about it. I rarely see black people on the ski hills or bike parks or in skydiving videos and I'm wondering why that is.

A buddy of mine went skydiving last year with his girlfriend (they're both black). My dad & uncle used to jump out of planes...but they were in the army, heh heh.

Typically blacks avoid extreme sports because life itself is an extreme sport (police, gangs, health issues, etc).

I think that was part of the joke that the comedian covered. Black people don't feel the need to engage in risky and potentially life threatening sports because life itself is already a risk for them.

Still, if you guys haven't tried downhill mountain biking, I highly recommend it.

I've done dry slope skiing but only because it is near where I live. I've done things like mountain biking, rock climbing and abseiling.

I've never sky dived or bungee jumped.

A lot of adventure sports can be pretty expensive. I think a lot of black people would just rather spend their money and time on something else.

my dad says that white people created those sports to get away from black people. and that we should let them have them. but my dad's kind of old and slightly racist.

That is true. It is costly. Skiing especially with the cost of lift tickets. And a good mountain bike will run you at least $2000 (per type of bike).

Having him play 008 or something like that in a Bond film is nothing but a lame consolation prize.

If more black people and other minorities got the opportunity to create and star as original characters that would be great.

I'm not interested in a Black James Bond. I'm interested in a original black character that develops into being as iconic and successful as James Bond. Evan an original black character on the level of Jason Borne would be good.

Yep. And these characters already exist in book form. Most haven't made that leap from page to the big screen yet.

Yep. They have financed spin off movies many times before through their BBC Films division.

Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie and Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa are their most recent spin off films.

A Luther movie could be made for a few million and probably turn a profit as it it has a decent international following. Seems like it would have a better chance of success than the Spooks movie that got released last year.
