Rdmaul, quick question. How does the belt that came with your bane pants fit? I'm about a 36 and the pants fit great, but the belt he sent me functions more as a girdle and I've got about 2 inches of muffin top. Also, breathing is made rather difficult.

i think most people here are in the late or mid twenties, correct? so why argue with people about if you're the most muscular person in the world, why argue to people obviously looking for an argument, etc? if someone annoys you, just use the BLOCK feature. no need for a somewhat semi-decent costuming thread turn into some kids facebook page correct? lets use our heads a little bit.
if someone says you're not the most muscular person in the world, who cares, block them. why argue with someones opinion?
if someone tells another person their costume isnt accurate, yet the person who wears it has fun wearing it, block the people that "hate" just to hate.
etc.

the block feature should be pretty easy to understand. takes a second to block someone, yet it takes hours and hours to get into some "online argument" with people you've never met, with people you know you can vent online to based on the days frustrations. it may be "easy" to argue, but its even easier to use the block feature...unless you're looking to argue. anyone looking to argue, arguing, or promoting arguing should be either blocked or banned. no one wants to waste their time babysitting immature adults.

venomshock, i believe that is the same vest that jonny is trying to sell- jonny, am i right? and is it cause it's a huge pain in the ass to get the thing on?

I have to go past the last notch and onto the notches that are for decoration. The sizing of the belt is pretty bad to be honest

Yea i have the same problem with the belt guys luckily i found one that is identical to it at a local military surplus store, the only problem is the color is a little off.

Looks like an almost identical belt for 8 bucks, they only have 1 size in stock right now, but you might be able to find more by googling for double prong canvas belt

Im not new here per say- ive been following this thread since before it was even made into 2 parts let alone 3. You guys are all a bunch of pretty talented ppl. I have been working on a Bane mask myself- just the top part is done now. I haven't posted very much because you guys all seem to know each other very well and I am not a talented mask maker, but i would venture to say that am really good at drawing. I would like to post some pics. WOuld any of you be interested in seeing the slow progress of my mask. Im making it out of regular household materials bcuz idk how to do any of that molding. so in no way will it look as good aas AZ's but i guess for a first try it isnt that bad.
I kinda wanna become a part of this cool bane-loving community so im going to try to start to become a frequent poster if you dont mind.

And no im not some random person who just happened to watch TDKR and become a batman "fan" no. im a die hard TAS, beyond, burton, nolan, comic rreading bat-nerd so ya. a little bit about me. srry ik u guys hate long posts but if uve read this much- thank you

I think I have to pass on that. I WOULD do it, but I don't plan on purchasing until early october. Making sure I'm fit enough to take on the role of Bane.

Which I think is doable. Found out how to make protein shakes without powder, although I DO have creatine at my disposal. And I've got a workout that has at least shown SOME sort of size increase, just hope it's enough to get me where I need to by October's end.

Was going to order some banepants until I realised they're charging £25 for UK delivery. Looks like they're now using a 'one price fits all' delivery cost regardless of where you are in the world. £95 for a pair of trousers is a little pricey for me!

spy-boy, done with a milling machine, actually. i asked real nice. it's aluminum, so i'll have to paint it and antique it etc, but it's a start. getting the back piece made too. decided to do two pieces separate instead of tacked together, since it will be easier to move... also i am not sure that the real belt is connected but i could be wrong.

off to work, back in about 12 hours. dont have too much fun without me

I am definetely going without a doubt BUT I wont have a booth, I am not that talented to warrant that. The plan for costumes is to have Bane and hopefully finish my Mark 7 Ironman suit by then. I may have one other costume but not sure yet.
