The way he rounds his mouth is very ape-like.

Ruffalo DID say that Hulk would look a bit more apish.

And that's why he looks somewhat real.

You're probably right. And it's all natural when you mix a dozen of important characters in one movie, you're probably not going to have enough time to develop anything properly. Giving the Ruffalo's Banner/Hulk character his first shot in this movie is some big disservice. But for me the whole idea of Avengers as a movie is like thinking 'So I love pizza, strawberry ice-cream and pork chops with apple sauce so I'll put all of that in a mincer and eat it for it'll be the best meal ever done.'

Anyways, Hulk looked good to me.

I understand, but I feel that the character of Banner's been shortchanged ever since he's made the leap to the big screen, and it's him we need to care about, in order for the Hulk to work better IMO.

I know what you mean though, in a film like this, it was destined for him to be pushed to the back. I'm just saying at some point, you run the risk of making the character essentially irrelevant, I actually think we're already at that point right now.

I don't see why some of you are complaining. I saw banner in a lot of the shots throughout the trailer....he just wasn't in hulk form until the end. Which is the 'big surprise'. It's a teaser trailer.....so that's why he was at the very end......to build hype.

As far as the face is concerned, this is a HUGE upgrade from TIH in my opinion. I'm stoked.

To say that would be to say that a nuclear bomb is just an extension of a sparkler. They do not resemble one another at all.

We aren't talking about a mechanical "thing" here. We are talking about a living, breathing person (yes, I realize the HULK is fictional, but roll with me here). You can also relate it to how a someone looks as a child, and then when that person grows up, they look different, but still have some of the same recognizable features that he/she had when they were a child. You see where I'm going with this?

That's the first thing that struck me, the eyes look so good, I always felt the glowing eyes in TIH were a mistake.

I actually sent that still to my dad via email and said this is the makeup they're using for the new Hulk. He was like, that's pretty damn good, then I said, nah that's actually CG, man.

i'm not easily convinced but that is without a doubt the best looking hulk so far

looks actually like a merger of the first two incarnations. Enough animalistic with enough realism

i hope his body proportions and torso are good as well, not to mention his size.

As for rufallo.......so far, not convinced, I know robert downey jr has to steal every scene he is in but meh.

The trailer was pretty much looked like it was an iron man sequel with the other characters tagging along. cap and thor got decent screen time but black widow (except for random hot poses), hawkeye and hulk got nadda.

loki also needed more.

and damn, more bloody group shots dammit. too many indvidual one-to-one interactions

Nah, someone decided to reverse it and have him wear a purple shirt instead. I think purple pants would have made me faint.

Well, they will honestly be hoping to sell a lot of this one RDJ's star power, since frankly he is the hottest one on that roster right now.

Yeah, if you told me that shot was Mark in prosthetics I'd probably believe it, the CG looks that damn good.

Hulk in AngHulk had convincing CG ruined by a **** design and snot green hue.
Hulk in TIH had a great design with good to okay CG

And now it looks like they've finally gotten both fields right, and people can believe there's a Hulk on screen. Now let's just hope he talks more!
