The Rebooted "Keep Hope Alive" (that the rights can revert back to Marvel) Thread - Part 10

Please God (YHWH), prevent this film from being made and released. Fox is keeping the Fantastic Four hostage, bring the Fantastic Four back home to Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige. A Marvel Studios' Fantastic Four film will inspire millions to appreciate and cherish their families, and inspire people on this planet to become something better and take a stand for what is good. Another Fox movie will do the opposite. In Jesus' name, Yehoshua Ha'Mashiach, Amen.

Guys is Willie ok?

I ask because I too am feeling ill.

Willie where are you brother

:funny: Just reading it this very minute.

I'm not worried that it will really happen.

Might somebody be proposing this idea? Sure. Some half-wit... maybe even Kinberg himself is probably suggesting it and even the dummies at Fox are probably rolling their eyes at this idiotic idea.

It's a terrible idea that nobody is going to want to see. I wouldn't even like this if it was coming from Marvel. You can't just bring Franklin and Valeria out of nowhere with no context. They only work because of all the other history and characters that are around them.

I highly doubt it will go beyond the mumbled rumor trial-balloon phase, but if it does, I'll have my torch and pitchfork ready. :woot:

If- and I think this is a huge if- this rumor turns out to be true, I would be willing to bet it has something to do with Simple Simon taking on Dark Phoenix (that is, he would be the director lined up for it).

You're wrong. There will be all the defenders returning in full force who will lap up every bit of information they can get, and then quickly disappear again when the film sinks even worse than the last one, only to return for the next outing. :o

They seem to be really trying to find something for "the kids". That seems to be what they're doing with New Mutants. And I think that's a big mistake. A really good film will appeal to both kids and adults.

Adults don't want to see a film made for kids, and kids, certainly don't want to see a film made for kids.

Sometimes when I think Fox couldn't be any more dumb, they outdumb themselves.

...which is a little scary, because maybe they really could be foolish enough to try this truly terrible idea.

:funny: While you're probably partly kidding, just watch. Some people really are so far up Fox's butt that even something as ridiculous as this will bring some of them in here to tell us this is a good idea. :lmao:

"IF" this is true, I will do something I've said I'd never do in the past. I WILL boycott every, single Fox SH movie. I loved Deadpool, but will NOT pay a penny to see DP2.

Go ahead and throw your hit or miss $#!t up against the wall. You won't see a penny from me.

Don't forget: FOX also tried to make a Daredevil film to hold the rights but it became such a mess that the rights reverted to marvel

True but they waited until the last minute there. They have five full years to pinch out this next turd.

Same.

Funny thing is that even the Fox-Marvel fans hated Fant4stic and wanted them to return to Marvel.

They also had 5 years to produce Fant4stic & I'm guessing they're gonna put in the same effort for this hunk of junk, if it gets made.

Watch Ben Grimm be even smaller and weedier than Jamie Bell, and when he turns into the Thing he'll be even taller this time. And not only will he be lacking a thing again, but he might even have a vagina. :o

One thing I love about the whole concept is that, after doing three terrible films that felt nothing like the Fantastic Four with young casts to attract young audiences, they've come up with this 'new' take that will feel nothing like the Fantastic Four and feature a young cast to attract a young audience. You really can't make this stuff up. :lmao:

So their idea is Spy Kids with superheroes?

No way this is true. Fox would be stupid AF to even think about doing this. Trank's F4 was DOA before it even came out and this seems to be worse. No way Fox is this stupid. I think this maybe some exec who leaked this info, hoping Disney jumps but no way this movie ever gets made. If it does, Fox is dumber than we thought.

We've already had a couple scurry out from underneath the fridge to assert their continued loyalty to FOX licensed productions.

OMG! That's what this stupid premise feels like: A Spy Kids movie. And I don't even like Spy Kids! Honestly, if FOX couldn't get the audience to like the main characters in Fant4stic, what makes them think they'll get us to care about their two children?

Lol reminds me of another upcoming reboot. :funny: (Homecoming cough)

But yeah, I doubt this is happening. Fox can't be this stupid. Kinberg? Yeah. But Fox is still a business that needs to make money. This would bomb harder than Fant4stic

I can't speak for everyone, but this FF fan would would be ecstatic with an MCU Fantastic Four film with RDJ in a supporting role.

They can't possibly be serious? They do know that the fanboy venom will be mind blowing right? If they try to announce this at SDCC they will be booed out of Hall H. There will be boycotts, campaigns, petitions, revolution...there will be revolution!!!!!!!

As much as I loath Fox I was still going to cave in and support Planet Of the Apes 3 but at this point. I'm not giving Fox s!#$!

F4, Dr. Doom, Annihilus, Silver Surfer and Galactus are the picture for me so sorry Caesar! Fox and all their films can go straight to h3ll!

Nah you pretty much are speaking for everyone here, with very few exceptions.

:up::up::up::up::up:

Kids movie my @$$! I'd boycott any theater playing this film moving forward!

So would I  As long as Doom's motivation for becoming a villain isn't about getting revenge on Stark instead of Reed (Vulture) or giving Reed an Iron Man suit. Or having him mentor Reed and build every single gadget Reed created in the comics, even though he's a genius & the smartest man in the Marvel Universe. I'm all for Stark having a supporting role. :woot:

In all seriousness, I want the First Family in the MCU, that's where they belong. And I really love the idea of a 60s period piece movie too.

Anybody that is talking about boycotting other films to spite Fox is lying up the @$$.
They're not making another F4 film, but y'all still going to see Caesar or Deadpool (or don't but they'll still make money without you).

That's even more insulting.
