Is it too early for a toast by Professor X?

... dammit Chuck, you had one job.

John Byrne only knows how to draw one face. Everyone looks the same.

Probably impossible, but If they manage to close this thing out and somehow give us a surprise F4 or mutant related stinger at the end of Avengers 4, I will melt in my seat

I imagine it would have to be something low key, like someone mentioning the Baxter building in conversation or William Hurt's Thunderbolt Ross discussing how the accords affects mutants. Something they can conceivably come up with in short notice and not have to worry about casting or even writing a movie just yet.

I swear if this deal is finalized by Christmas, and they do a secret post credit shoot for Infinity War 2....

Imagine the goosebumps we'd all get if at the end we see Galactus just standing there like "I'm hungry!" and just looks at Earth.

That would be pretty epic...but for me, a simple shot of a comic book accurate Doom in Latveria, talking about how Thanos has fallen, now its "Doom's Day!" would lock in the nerd heart attack for me...

I think that's gone from a less than 1% chance to a solid 5% chance with this quick DOJ ruling.

This should close before the end of the year now, and with a May release, they could film something quick in February and have time to include it if they wanted to.

But I think it's more likely we could get an announcement of a 2022 film at the 2019 Comic-Con than an after-credits scene.

That's true. Even just a mention of something that's been up until now forbidden would be cool. It might go past other theater-goers, but people like us would certainly notice if the simple word 'mutant' happened to be used in some context.

I honestly don't know if $41/share is enough to change the board's mind on $38/share with DOJ approval. I'm not even sure it would change shareholder's mindset. That's low. I don't think Disney counters that. Comcast needs to go for broke.

Thanks, I can put away my voodoo doll now, lol.

Wait, Wobbly has voodoo dolls of us all? But I don't own any stocks. Not even a 401K! And, I offered the only bribe of chocolate for the 'hypothetical female fox shareholder'!

Comcast just needs to go.

Pls go, I cast you back to the com from which you came!

The new Fantastic Four uniforms for the upcoming return of the team in comics would be great for the MCU versions.

They're a modern take on the original with the colors inverted.

I'm getting so excited I'm getting ahead of myself. I better calm down and temper expectations coz it ain't over just yet. I hope Disney gets this over with fast and that Comcast gives up already.

One post credit, with a bunch of guys beating on some unseen person, screaming the "M" bomb... then a blast of ruby force tossing them all away, as some fool knocks off Cyc's glasses.

The Thing looks amazing there. That design is tailor fit for the big screen.

Or just a large, shadowed figure, with a deep voice, commanding his heralds to seek out a suitable planet to quench his long hunger after the universe is restored post snap, with several beings we all know shooting by, then one, going slower, on his surfboard, as a Satriani tune we all know well begins to play after he ponders a moment, seeking a world able to defy his master.

Speaking of a certain chocolate bribe....

sigh...

Who do I send it to?

Yes, I really like those uniforms

I guess I'm the only one who would prefer Avengers 4 to end on a (relatively) positive note rather than with a setup for the next bad guy.

If it's Doom or Galactus, then that's a very positive note to end on!

Me too. Pretty much the only "commercial for the next bad guy" I'd approve of would be Kang scanning the past for abuse of time travel and getting Thanos's invasion, because that fits organically rather than being shoehorned into a finale that should end on a positive note.

I can’t think of a more positive note to end on than to welcome the long awaited fox marvel IPs into the MCU

Yep.

Just give some visuals.

No dialog necessary. It would actually be inline with Thanos's reveal at the end of the first Avengers film.
