Hmm, I think its time to celebrate. I'm going to watch the Corman FF, the Story films, then I will at last sit down and watch Fant4stic.
The inevitable MCU arrival of the FF will make those movies much more easier to stomache.

I wish the FFINO defenders would come back to try and piss in our cornflakes now.

Don’t forget Patrick Star-Thing. His look is the best so far.

I definitely have to check it out.

Sweet Dee Reynolds is now a Disney Princess

What a strange timeline this is
:woot:

Imagine a post credits scene attached to A4 where Deadpool walks on screen wearing Mickey Mouse ears and he says "I'm in the MCU now, ***** (bleep) only to curse at Bob Iger "Come on, Bob, really??!?"

When did Deadpool gain the ability to jump between fictional universes? He's not America Chavez.

Deadpool is easy to carry over. It's. Not like his films gave a crap about Fox-verse X-Men continuity anyway.

Cable is going to be the tricky one. Brolin is great as him and Thanos.

How would they resolve that?

Bob Iger's initial response to journalist David Faber after he heard Comcast had bowed out of the race: "Holy crap."

He went on to add that this was an exciting development and that Disney will be working on the regulatory approvals to acquire pretty much everything Fox owns outside of news, sports and the broadcast network (a.k.a. “New Fox”).

Doesn't matter, he's still very much an inhabitant of the Fox-verse. He can't just jump into the MCU without logical explanation. Where did he came from? Who created him? Why has no one ever mentioned him before?

Deadpool is a 4th wall breaker, not a reality-jumper.

I believe Deadpool will be MCU adjunct. He won't feature in the other MCU films (because he doesn't fit anyway) but in his own films he might make references to them, and even some MCU heroes might occasionally cameo for fun. But it won't be a two way street.

:funny: If we managed to get a 'holy crap' out of Iger, can you imagine Kevin Feige's response?:woot:

Feige is freeing all the mutants from Genosha and creating cosmic rays as we speak.

Just blame Thanos :hehe:

Absolutely no explanation is necessary. Mr. Wilson exists in a reality outside of the Singer-verse, so sliding him over to the MCU is easy. An Avengers 4 post credit scene with Deadpool applying for membership would lead to exactly zero fans asking the questions you posed.

Why was Spider-Man never mentioned before? Where was Pym etc. Deadpool is small scale enough for these questions to not really matter. And he has never been strictly in Singer continuity

It's not like Deadpool could ever really crossover with any of the other characters anyway. Can you imagine if this deal already happened a few years ago? I don't see Deadpool being in something like Infinity War and joining all the other heroes to battle Thanos.

He exists in a side reality, almost like a meta commentary on everyone else.

It's coming home! I can't believe this day has come.

All left is Spider-man

Yeah, I think the best strategy would be to have other characters, like Spider-Man, pop into his world for a little fun, but not Vice Versa.

Well, and Hulk solo and Namor rights, and Marvel theme park rights. Hopefully everything from Universal will come home to Marvel very soon too.
