I have an idea! It's called "stop Jeph Loeb from making X-Men shows before I use them, on a Perlmutter budget, and saying #ItsAllConnected"![]()
In the coming days/weeks, if we see him with either a X-Men or Fantastic Four shirt on, that'd be a nice little gesture.
t:I mean, Feige will get first dibs on the X-Men. As for the tv side of things - Maybe a Generation X show
Fixed it for ya =)In the coming days/weeks, if we see him with either a X-Men or Fantastic Fourshirtbaseball cap on, that'd be a nice little gesture.
They likely won't. Feige will get the keys to the car before Loeb. Any X-show come after Feige's X-MenHaving those characters predate Feige's X-Men in the MCU would be idiotic.
I wouldn't expect many statements of any significance on Friday. This is big step, but not the final one. When the deal closes is when you will hear from everyone. The most I would expect to hear from Iger, is where they stand with International approvals.
Maybe the trades will do that for us. The projected closing date I meanThe last hour or so, I've had a growing sense of trepidation this might be true. I would definitely like a statement about international approvals, since I've been sort of curious about this, or even better, a projected closing date, as some have suggested.

Hopefully the international approvals won't be some long, drawn out process. Why should they take so long? Couldn't they be fast-tracked through to be done as quickly as possible?
It's partly the number of markets requiring approval. Some operate quicker than others.Hopefully the international approvals won't be some long, drawn out process. Why should they take so long? Couldn't they be fast-tracked through to be done as quickly as possible?

I hope this post is trolling...The X-Men will not become part of the MCU.
Once the merger go through, Walt Disney Company will keep Fox Studios as a separate entity from Walt Disney Studios, meaning all licensing contracts will stay in place.
Keven Fiege and Marvel Studios wont be able to get they hands on the X-Men, even though they will have the same parent company.
Right now WD Studios, Marvel Studios, Pixar and Lucasfilms are all do specialise productions.
Disney wants a conventional studio with a more broad appear, in other words Disney wants a studio that is not specialise in a narrow theme. A studio that will make a variety of films like action, scifi, horror, drama, comedies and R rated movies.
So Deadpool fans, you have nothing to be worried about, youll still get your R rated Deadpool.

Bob Iger is wrong, you guys
Hes only the CEO of The Walt Disney Company
What could he possibly know?
The X-Men not joining the MCU after the Fox deal closes has as much as a chance of happening as Simon Kinbergs imaginary Fan4stic sequel ever getting greenlit.

I hope it's not. I hope that, just before the meeting on Friday, we can have FoX-Men: The Last Stand.![]()
