The fanboy side of me is thinking,”Oh! maybe Marvel is already working on the FF film secretly before the deal officially closes.” But the logical side of me is thinking, “don’t read anything into this, it’s just a concept artist doing this for fun.”

Well that disproves the notion that Marvel can't do concept art. I mean, the Spider-Man was already designed a month after th deal closed.

I hate to burst your bubble but I looked at this guy’s full Instagram post and apparently this piece was actually something he did years ago for a different studio, not something that he was recently commissioned to do by Marvel Studios.

The concept art is wrong anyway. Thing is missing his oversized brow again. If the Marvel version is anything like that, it's an instant fail.

Love the face and general body look. The massive traps might take some getting used to.

This design from Tim Miller’s version of Deadpool 2 (before he left the project) is much better imo.

While I like the overall design of the Thing in this image, there are some items that don't seem practical to me - pockets and buckles/straps.

Seems to me that the Thing would have a real problem using either of those items what with his oversized, rocky fingers.

I think inevitably someone on the FF team will get race-swapped since I can’t imagine Marvel going with a completely all white team.

I know it’s probably gonna be impossible, but maybe if Birds of Prey (and the unnecessarily long subtitle to prop Harley Quinn) tanks they can cast Margot Robbie as MCU Invisible Woman.

Reed is the only one who could. Possibly Ben. You swap Sue, you have to swap Johnny, and vice-versa.

I prefer none of them to be changed. Marvel doesn't swap their main characters. They can surround the F4 with a diverse supporting cast

I agree. I’m not mad if they keep the 4 white, not every thing has to be changed for the sake of diversity.

Wouldn’t be mad if Keith David is the voice of Galactus though.

I would prefer they keep them all the classic look for the FF. I don't want that when Marvel finally gets to do the first family, they start taking all kinds of liberties with the source material. If it were Fox, people would be up in arms, but just because it's now Marvel doesn't suddenly give them a free pass.

Marvel already changed so much with Spider-Man Homecoming that everyone apart from Peter Parker was barely recognisable. Ned Leeds (who is not even a teenager) becoming Peter's best friend but isn't even actually Ned but Ganke. Betty Brandt (different spelling now) who looks more like Gwen Stacey. MJ who is not Mary Jane Watson but Michelle Jones, so only MJ in initals, as much as Michael Jackson is MJ. Even her personality isn't the same. Flash Thompson, whom even a pre-spider bite Peter looks like he could beat up. The list goes on.

Keep them White but have a diverse supporting cast is the way I'd like it to go. But whatever
