Vulture, Hela and now Talos - were all pretty great. They've definitely stepped their villain game upMy one worry is Feige's villains outside of Loki and Thanos haven't been so good. Especially since were all hyped for Galactus and Doom they are going to have to step it up a notch.
You guys keep doubting the power of the mutants and the 4. I said it before, we’ve only seen them:

The X-Men will be resurgent.
Seeing Captain Marvel really makes me want F4 to be a 60's period piece much like XMFC was a sixties period piece and CM was a 90s period piece.
I know there are fans who are against that idea , but I would love to see a F4 during the mid sixties, period in the US with the upbeat attitude and bright color of films like That Thing You Do and the Sci Fi tv series of the decade like Lost In Space, Star Trek, and The Outer Limits.
I hope MCU X-Men wear those colorful suits. CAN'T WAIT!!You guys keep doubting the power of the mutants and the 4. I said it before, we’ve only seen them:

.Top 3?! That implies he isn’t the best!Definitely can't forget Killmonger. Easily one of the best MCU villains. Top 3

Yep. Ego also was fine IMO, and then you have Thanos who completely delivered. The MCU have taken positive steps to fix the weak villain issue.Definitely can't forget Killmonger. Easily one of the best MCU villains. Top 3

Realizing this matchup is close to a possibility is getting me hype.

The main thing with the jokes is to ensure they don’t have them at important dramatic moments. It doesn’t matter if they’re great jokes, they need to cut them at those times for the benefit of the overall film. The main areas of criticism lobbied at the MCU since its inception have been 1) weak villains, 2) sub par music, 3) limited diversity and 4) over reliance on humor. Feige and company have addressed the first three and I am hoping they ignore the fourth.

I don’t think anyone is doubting them. Just saying the FF and X-Men breaking out as big cultural watershed moments like we’re seeing with BP or Captain Marvel isn’t really likely.
“Fantastic Four but Marvel is making it now!” or “But Wolverine has a mask now!” just isn’t the same sort of thing that people were excited over with finally those movies.
And I’m mad I’ll probably have to wait until Wednesday to see Carol Danvers. Damn my friends and their plan cancelling asses!
So go on your own? I went on my own its honestly better that way IMO.
That’s the plan. It’s just Wednesday is the only time I’ll have free time to go see it
It sucks. Can’t even check IGN without seeing spoilers.
I agree, and this relates, in a way, to something that bugged me in Captain Marvel and I'm curious if it bothered anybody else.
Toward the end, when she was just starting to kick butt, they played No Doubt's "I'm Just a Girl". At any other part of the film, sure, throw that song in, but at that moment, it completely took me out of the moment. You had an intense battle on-screen, but goofy bubble-gum music playing that destroyed the intensity.
Did that bother anyone else?
See I completely disagree, the sound track made me enjoy the movie even more. That might be a spoiler for some who haven't seen the film.
Here's a thread to discuss things you liked or didn't like about the movie where you can mention spoilers:
