Well, whether they announce anything tonight though is another matter. If they're discussing it late in the evening I don't see them making an announcement until tomorrow morning.

I always thought Channing Tatum was a horrible choice for Gambit.

Hey @Zyraquis apparently IFT Mexico is supposed to vote today and hopefully they did but it seems weird we have not heard from them about their decision yet or any of the news media reporting it. Is it possible Disney is saving the hopeful IFT Mexico approval news for tomorrow morning?

If I remember last time with COFECE it took a few before we heard about their approval. We might just have to wait and see if the deal closes within the next few days. If it does well know they approved it I guess. Maybe Disney or IFT don't feel the need to announce it since its kind of assumed at this point?

Latest info I can see is that it could take more than one day for IFT to review it. The decision should come out anytime now and if all goes well as scripted should be effective in Mexico some time 15-20 March

More than one day I thought that they would make a decision today after going through it with Disney and others.

My guess is that tomorrow morning an announcement by Disney may be made.

Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS) and Twenty-First Century Fox (FOX) have set an anticipated closing of March 20 just after midnight for their transformative $71B media-asset deal.

The companies said they expected Fox to distribute all issued and outstanding common shares of Fox Corp. to the 21CF shareholders at about 8 a.m. ET on March 19 on a pro rata basis, and that the acquisition (in which Disney gets Fox's entertainment assets) would then be effective at 12:02 a.m. ET on March 20.

The deadline for holders of 21CF common stock to elect the form of consideration they wish to receive in the acquisition will be 5 p.m. ET on March 14.

Premarket: DIS +0.1%; FOX +0.1%; FOXA +0.2%.
