It could be clobberin' time pretty soon (and not the domestic violence kind this time )! I do wonder, though, does each country have the same window of two weeks for companies to look it over? If so, I could see that being the main reason for their conservative timeline of the first half of 2019.

That said, I wouldn't be upset if that happened. Also CMCSA is interested in some of the RSNs DIS has to divest. That could be used for leverage to get those Marvel rights CMCSA owns and 30% of Hulu.

Do you think those things could be of a value in the same ballpark? Could be a real opportunity here if so.

If you'll allow me a brief rant (this has almost nothing to do with anything, but it was running through my brain last night at 3:00 am, and I think the best way to try to exorcise it is type it out - please feel free to ignore and move along.)

The "turd in the wind" thing.

Okay, we're talking about a human torso here - 100ish pounds of irregularly shaped flesh, organs, bones etc. It's going to stay where it lands and not roll anywhere. Maybe, if it's propelled with a large initial velocity, it will roll a short distance, but it won't go far before stopping.

And a turd in the wind? Turds are relatively dense with low surface area. They're not like leaves. They don't move when a strong breeze kicks up. If I had a dollar for every "turd in the wind" I've seen in my 53 years, I'd have... zero dollars.

It's just completely nonsensical and seems like a very forced excuse to use the word "turd" so that 2nd graders will giggle and say: "he said turd"

It's bad, lazy, dumb writing and it should be a complete embarrassment - not the key featured dialogue for the main character of a film prominently shown in the trailer.

Disney does not care about about Marvel getting Hulk and Namor rights back. I guarantee if their were talks about selling regional sports networks, Hulk and Namor would never be mentioned in the negotiations. It's such small fries for the hire ups that wouldn't even think of it. If a deal is going to be made, it's be made between Marvel Entertainment and Universal Studios, not Disney and Comcast. But frankly Marvel has it's cake and eating it too when concerning the Hulk, Namor is low priority specially with the return X-men and F4. And while Universal gains nothing from the Hulk rights they also lose nothing. For all we know Universal have made offers to sell the rights back and Marvel refuse because it's just not worth it.

Let’s also try to get the amusement park rights from Universal too.

Now that is something that would catch the attention of the higher ups. It would be big money for them to open a Marvel World in Orlando and since the contract is in perpetuity the only way they're getting it is through a deal.

I think She-Hulk would be perfect for streaming as would Man-Thing (which I don't see on the chart, but I believe is back with Marvel).

I think both of those could work on a streaming budget.

But question: Would She-Hulk be best as just an actress in green paint, or should they go CGI to make her a little bigger (either on big or small screen)?

I think CGI might look a little cooler, but the complexity and cost of CGI would be limiting when a green actress would be so much easier and reasonably close to the comics.

I guess by the time Marvel has the rights, technology might be to the point that CGI like that will be cheap and easy - and maybe just a slight overlay over an actual actress.
