Yes. Jean kills her by accident which causes a schism between between Beast and Xavier because of the questionable way Xavier has handled the Jean Grey situation. Beast blames Xavier partly for her death and joins Magneto’s group to aid him in killing Jean.

That {{spoiler}} is hilarious. The two of them never had much of a relationship in the three films they've known each other. I hope Kinberg isn't trying to sell them as some great love story because I ain't buying.

The UK haven't left the EU yet. Who knows when the Brexit deal will even go through? It certainly won't be before the Disney Fox deal, so they're still part of the EU as far as anyone is concerned.

Not sure, the uk can block the takeover of a british company which sky is. They have blocked american companies taking over british pharmaceuticals before as well as airbus buying bae.

The UK already approved Comcast's purchase of Sky, which includes the Fox/Disney piece.

Need to update this list again since I think a link said Korea approved it:
European Union - Done
Australia - Unknown
Brazil - Approval apparently coming soon
Canada - Done
China - Done
India - Done
Israel - Unknown
Japan - Unknown
Mexico - Still dealing with regulatory issues
Russian Federation - Done
South Africa - Done
South Korea - Done
Taiwan - Done
Turkey - Done
United Kingdom - Is it required or still EU?

You really need to update the UK as well.

I tried looking for a source for this, but I couldn't find anything- do you have one? After everything that's gone on throughout the whole thing, I'm a bit hazy on all the details....

Sky is a British company. While we are in the EU we have maintained regulatory oversight on our own businesses.

So once everything is finalized are we gonna call this thread Keep Hope Alive-Sony/Spidey Edition?

Off topic but somewhat related, Marvel Games recently changed their logo on their Twitter account to Marvel G4mes.

This is not a joke.

Flashbacks of Fant4stic aside, I'm personally hoping that this is a hint at some type of Fantastic 4 related video game in the near future.

The 4 were my favorite team to roll with on Ulimate Alliance 2 and I think an F4 game done right would be phenomenal.

Each of the 4 create their own unique gameplay possibilities.

Here's hoping ...

A F4 video game would be awesome and a great way to reintroduce them before a new movie. I wonder if thats what those ex-blizzard devs are working on.

Literally just came from Target and you'd be shocked to see all the X-Men shirts they have now. To think it only took Disney to buy Fox and then BOOM we get all of this cool merch again.

Got me to thinking, I'm a 90s baby but did anyone ever have this really cool X-Men lunchbox?

I had this exact X-Men backpack in second/third grade:

Brings back so many memories

On the topic of merchandise, I've bought several officially licensed Marvel Fantastic Four T-Shirts recently.

Which may seem a small thing, but I've always had FF T-Shirts, and I refuse to buy knock offs. With nothing available for the past several years, my wardrobe was starting to look pretty ratty. :funny:

"Hint"? "Hint?!?!?" I think this is a little more than a hint, man! This is like the "I'm-gonna-be-all-alone-tonight" level of hinting... and we better not miss the hint. :funny:

Man... being inundated with all this FF and X-Men merchandise makes me realize just how soon they're coming home!

You could've bought a Fant4stic T-shirt or printed your own. Maybe you could wear one of Miles Teller, or one of thing-less Thing and the words "what a revolting development" above it. :o

More merch should be coming this week:

"Marvel fans will also have a chance to order limited-edition Fantastic Four apparel in January to celebrate their favorite characters."

Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Week

Note to self: buy the Fantastic 4 logo shirt with the big ass 4 on it.

This better be a confirmation that the Fox deal is pretty much finalized, and just need a press conference for an official announcement.

Maybe because of the break, Disney made an agreement with Brazil and Mexico, and when those agencies come back from break the conditional approval will be given by then and then the Disney Fox merger will be official.

The Disney/Fox deal is the best thing to happen to the Fantastic Four in a very long time.
It’s probably the single best thing that could ever happen/have happened to them.
