A bit off-topic, but I was hoping the Disney deal would’ve ended The Simpsons, Family Guy, and American Dad. Sadly, they’ve been renewed. More episodes to tarnish their legacies. I thank God every day South Park wasn’t bought by Fox. Trey and Matt would have to answer for...

Agree that the Simpsons and Family Guy have lost what made them fun and should end. I still like American Dad though and Fox cancelled it. It was bought by TBS.

It’s still a FOX show. Just in another channel. Bob’s Burgers is the only show of any worth now on FOX.

They were never cancelling those. Those shows still get great ratings. Even if they're now hot garbage.

Its unconcevable according to me

Feige wants to keep one universe, MCU (Avengers, guardians, X-men, F4 and Deadpool r-rated included in MCU) and not MCU and Deadpool R-rated separate universe

And to include Deadpool in MCU we must reboot

There's also been the indication-- from Bob Iger I think-- that Deadpool may kind of be off in his own corner or possibly even under a different studio branding so that they can maintain the R-rating... he probably won't show up in other MCU movies anyway because that could ruin the 'realism' and suspension of disbelief.

I think we could potentially see other MCU characters pop up in Pool's movies, but not vice versa

and DP is Reynolds baby, he would riot, the fans would riot, everybody would riot if they kicked him out... and I also believe Once Upon a Deadpool was Reynolds saying, "Hey Disney, even if you want me to be PG-13, it still works!"... he will fight for that role

Poor Indiana Jones, if you thought South Park gave it to him good the last time.... just wait till Mickey gets his turn. Lol.

Why do we care about this random bit of news? What's this got to do now with any of the film rights or the Disney/ Fox deal or Marvel?

I think he's showing that some of the content Disney is getting from FOX is already getting active development.

Also, looks like Hulu will in fact be the destination for more mature programming.

I'd love some more Marvel content at FX as well, under John Landgraf.

I’m surprised you didn’t remove that video from the forum considering the strong language it had. I guess the standards has changed here or is that video just the exception to the rule? I’m asking because whenever I posted a You Tube video with strong profanity it would always get deleted from my posts and then I get a PM warning from one of the mods telling me that I violated the standards here.

My first preference for characters like Daredevil, Punisher and Luke Cage would be to insert their actors into the actual MCU, but it would be just as great if they found a home at FX.

That network has been dishing out quality shows for almost 2 decades now.

Honestly I didn't watch the video. Cannot at work. But I can now

So we know roughly the dates of all the contracts going through. Will everything be signed and delivered in time for some sweet sweet FF/X-Men-related announcements at the next ComicCon?

I think the deal will be done in time, but I'm not expecting any announcements.

I think they'll let interest and curiosity build, but it's hard to say. 5-6 years ago, they were announcing things way in advance, but now they're much more secretive.

… though maybe that secrecy is partly because they've known for the past few years that there was a good chance they'd be getting some rights back and they wanted to keep some things open.

Very curious to see how the Russos will portray Captain Marvel’s character in Endgame.

I'm curious how she'll be handled in both her film and Endgame. She looks to be the most powerful Avenger yet. I'm curious to how powerful she'll be shown to be, especially next to Thanos.

Captain Marvel I am betting will be showcased as very powerful, but I don't think she will be OP relative to Thanos. I think they will balance her fine. I am thinking she will get lower screentime than the original 6 and Ant-Man, also.

Without the X-Men and FF, a lot of "power" has been missing from the MCU. Captain Marvel should stand out in terms of "power" (arguments might be made for Dr. Strange or Hulk), but that's kind of by default.

Um. . . they *are* in the "actual MCU". MCU != movies.

I hope Marvel find a way to bring back Ronan the Accuser in the present, so that the FF can go up against him. Maybe he could even get a new outfit in green like the classic comics.

I don't. You cannot just bring back every character who dies. I love Ronan, I am excited to see him in Captain Marvel, but I would not want this at all.
