Battle Alita which is bombing hard is going to be the last film Fox releases(correct me if I'm wrong).

What I read a few months ago was that anything still in production (i.e. curently filming or about to film) is still going to be released under FOX.

If Disney cancelled it would Dark Phoenix be the first major studio release to get pulled despite 2 trailers being released? Imagine if those trailers were the only footage we saw from the film.

If Manabyte is to be believed doesnt sound like were getting any fox properties in phase 4 but he also teased in another tweet that Eternals will plant the seeds for Mutants.

I wouldn't pay him any mind. He's the same guy who kept insisting that the Quantum Realm was the source of Carol's powers in CM, that Endgame would be titled Annihilation and that the Fox deal wouldn't close until August. If you watch and read his tweets, he's clearly salty about Marvel getting these properties back

Conrad isn't an "Insider". He's a fanboy making his own speculations and theories like the rest of us.

He said Deadpool 2 was in trouble because of reshoots.

After the Disney-Fox deal comes into effect Sony will be the only studio that will be able to make movies with Marvel characters other than the Mouse itself.

How does the Sony-Spider-Man situation resolve itself? If Far From Home makes big bank at the box office then I can see the deal being extened but I think Sony might want to make Marvel integrate their version of the Marvel characters into the MCU in order for them to allow Marvel to continue using Spider-Man, and I think Feige will slam the door on the idea hard. Thus leading to Spidey being pulled out of the MCU.

Sony is basically the only independent marvel studio left. if that makes sense. I.e the only studio with their own marvel department with marvel characters that aren't part of the MCU. They would be silly to not play ball with Feige. They will loose all the good will they gained from fans when they let spidey join the MCU in the first place. If they want to miss out on having spidey interact with the x-men and f4 that's there loss. No one will care about another Sony produced Spider-Man film. it will flop hard.

Im still thinking we see Johnny Storm in Spider-Man 3 if it happens. Its so perfect.
That really would be perfect. Despite being so closely linked since Amazing Spider-Man #1, media adaptations have really missed the mark on giving us the Spidey/Torch bromance.

As much as I like having Spidey in the MCU the 2015 deal was really bad for Disney it basically let another studio leech of their work.

Disney is also acquiring approximately $19.8 billion of cash and assuming approximately $19.2 billion of debt of 21st Century Fox in the acquisition. The acquisition price implies a total equity value of approximately $71 billion and a total transaction value of approximately $71 billion.

so they are actually paying closer to $90 billion dollars?

The $71B is still accurate since the cash and debt cancel each other.

Disney should rename 20th Century Fox (the film division) to 21st Century Fox. I hope and I bet they'll keep the fox hymn since its a classic. Its gonna be weird seeing Dark PhoeniX in June and see "Distributed by the Walt Disney Company" in the end of the credits. Thats gonna happen right?

Its hard to get excited when you know whats coming. I felt the same with Age of Ultron when they announced Civil War.

I'm eXcited to see how many films will Disney release under the foX banner every year. I hope its gonna be like their main film studio. Disney the film studio is the one studio from the big six that released the least amount of movies per year for like the last five years and yet they became the most successful. And I hope its gonna quality over quantity for foX now and most of their franchise should be put to rest like Ice Age, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Die Hard, Predator and Alien. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Disney tries to resurrect those similar to Lucasfilm's franchises. I remember the years when foX had 1 critical acclaimed film and the rest were met with bad reviews and I have so many foX movies in my room so I know.

They can't change the 20th Century Fox fanfare. That is iconic and historic. They need to keep it.
