It's possible we are on the verge of something big coming. I'm almost positive Feige has everything ready to bring FF back.
damn that counter is slowwwwww
i want it NAO
t:The positive buzz for Spidey resulting from appearing in Civil War as a new MCU version more than likely have people and Fox thinking and/or sweating
Under 80 days now.t:

But it was 80 when I checked it yesterday!
How can it only go down 1 after a full 24 hours!!!![]()

I don't think we'll get something before SDCC.
And I doubt there will be any announcement of a joint FOX venture, ala SONY.
If that were the case, FOX wouldn't have pulled out of SDCC.
They would be there, front row, to bask in the free publicity.
Fox will say that they've kindly brought the MCU into the Fox Cinematic Universe out of the goodness of their heart, allowing Marvel to share in FFINO's phenomenal success last year. But just so Marvel doesn't feel bad, they've agreed to change FFINO's cast even though it is of great pain to Fox.
Comic book characters don't have a shelf-life. Actors do. They won't/can't do this forever. So, at some point that drop-off is going to happen. That's the beauty of phase 3. Marvel is introducing a slew of new characters to replace some, if not all of the old guard of Avengers. So, when the old actors lead, people will already know about Black Panther and Captain Marvel and they will think that they're really cool and want to see more of them. People are already warming up to Scarlet Witch, Falcon, Black Panther, and Ant-Man...
By the time of Infinity War, Marvel will have solo franchises for Ant-Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Doctor Strange. Those 4 franchises could very possibly make the same amount of money as the three franchises of Thor, Cap, and Iron Man.
Kate Mara was so bland and cold and really not maternal-like at all for the character of Sue.
Nothing earth-shaking, but a nice summary of recent rumors:

Back to FF, I don't feel like Fox will want to co-produce a FF film with Marvel if they are footing a significant portion of the bill. It will have to be an all or nothing deal. Marvel giving up X-Men merchandising, or some lump sum payment. The reason I feel this way is because FF is of no value to Fox, but it is of every value to Disney. And frankly, the X-Men do not need the MCU in any way shape or form. It's a totally different animal than Sony/Spidey, as Fox has a self contained franchise that will continue to expand. Fox/X-Men control their own destiny, while Spidey/Sony needed Iron Man and Co. to leech on to for a couple films or so. So in order to add value there, FF is the biggest bargaining chip. Disney will have to fork something, or wait another seven years and play chicken. The longer Fox holds, the more valuable the FF become, even though that FF "stock" is currently in the dirt for the time being.
