Take the Spidey talk to its forums folks.
Not at the expense of the well known characters & especially the ones that play an important part in Peters life down the line. This Flash they have here will never be taken seriously as Venom / Agent Venom the overall side cast just sucks & it feels like they started with the idea of making original characters but realized down the line they wanted the characters people knew but it was to late
What they do to Flash?
Which technically does prove the idea that MARVEL is bad with side characters
I think that even if Marvel Studios got the rights back they'd probably sit on it till it was time to refresh the MCU ranks the way they are starting to do with BP, Strange, Spidey and Captain Marvel. I would see them dipping in to F4 lore though before hand, maybe using some villains, aliens, or locations.
If Marvel did get the rights back to FF, they've already lost out on the most perfect casting for one of the characters. They already used Stan Lee as Willie Lumpkin in the first Story FF. Would Marvel use him again? Or would they prefer to cast someone else in the role simply for the sake of being different and to distinguish him from that movie?
In light of recent news. Could Marvel finally have FF back and is now moving forward with Namor with Sue as love interest?
Maybe it could be a way to introduce FF in the MCU.
Why wouldn't they want to use Stan Lee again? He's appeared in all the MCU films, they could use him again.
I doubt it, but at least it gives us something to think about/discuss
It doesn't take much to do that.
The Marvel 101 video, the fact that Marvel advertised Legion despite it being within the X-Men universe- even if some speculated that it was part of the MCU- the smallest theory can lead to, I suppose, page or two worth of discussion.
Ignoring it's co-produced by Marvel I see, a fact pointed out in the speculation covering the 101 list.
And who said it was part of the MCU?
Yet a new article on Marvel.com breaks down all of the upcoming heroes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe seen at SDCC and Legion is among them. Does this mean the show will take place in the MCU? If so, mutants are now available to Marvel as the word mutant is said during the trailer.
The world is not exactly clamoring for another Fantastic Four at least not anytime soon but with Marvel and Sony bringing Spider-Man: Homecoming into the fold, Fox could use Legion as a relatively low-risk way to hook into the immensely popular MCU, especially if it takes place in a supposedly parallel universe.
It doesn't take much to do that.

I said speculated, not said. And more than one writer or two got the idea:
Just for starters.
Yup, they'd find a spot for Stan, especially for the FF.
Not to be an alarmist or anything, but "fixable in a sequel" was the mantra of the Fant4stic defenders.
But, despite some general concerns, there's just about zero chance Homecoming will be as bad as Fant4stic.
Spider-man fans need only imagine for 30 seconds what it's like to be a Fantastic Four fan to know how good they've got it.
It doesn't take much to do that.

Not saying they wouldn't have a Stan Lee cameo. I was questioning whether they'd use him again as Willie Lumpkin since that's been done before even though it would be great casting.
