strangely enough, the shot with spidey and the towers reflected in his eyes IS used in spider-man 1

I remember seeing that in theatres... Before 9/11. Thats how I found out they were even doing a spidey film.

It's also a reason I'm so glad Sam Raimi is doing these films. He just knows the source material so well, or at least does his research.

I wouldn't exactly call the cartoon source material but it was a great series and one that I would be happy to see on the big screen
