I haven't tweaked the colors, only brightness and contrast because the picture was overexposed.
The blue doesn't seem to be too different after all.

Disagree in the last part. this hairstyle is more supermanish... Almost identical to this one. That screams superman.Honestly, both costumes are done so well as a whole. I think the muscularity (body suit and or painted) has improved as it looks more anotomically accurate. Something about the midsection of the MOS costume looked a bit odd to me but seems to have been resolved.
Based on the images above, the colors looks almost identical despite what some are aspousing based on a few set photos.
(All of this IMO of course)
EDIT: I will say I prefer MoS hair at this juncture. I like that they've shortened it for BVS but I'm
not a huge fan of the overly gelled style. This ALS photo really shows how drastic that has been done and it just seems overdone.
You sure? The MoS suit had 3 different chainmail sizes: one for the blue, one for the red in the emblem and one for the gold/yellow in the emblem.
Also, the armor doesn't seem to be as thick/raised and/or attached like the MoS suit, but rather seems painted on. While the overall suit design is nice and slightly better (I love the new cuffs with Kryptonian writing), the level of detailing and application is such a drop down honestly that it worries me. Perhaps this is more of a stunt suit...I hope.
We'll find out soon enough.
hmm, maybe this has been addressed, but it seems like amy adams is wearing an outfit she wore in mos in the ice blanket challenge... is this another sign of a flashback to the end of mos events? then again, mr. cavil is in his 'new' costume so perhaps lois just loves those vests...
i don't think they are going to address the new suit if anything they will most likely use it in the flash backs (if thats true) to establish that its been his suit all along
She was wearing a flight suit at the end of MOS, though. Maybe it's a flashback that goes further back...? Kind of weird to give her the same wardrobe again.

That outfit was the best that Lois has worn in MOS.oh, right. been a while since i've seen the movie. guess lois has stale fashion taste![]()

I figured out the only thing that bugs me about the new suit... its that the grey outlines on the MOS are now printed on, instead of glued on...its the only part that looks like a downgrade.
You sure?
BTW nice find on the different patterns on those three parts on the suit.
They look a lot more like solid pieces in the officially released photo. Perhaps that is not the "hero" costume and is one for stunts.
I think the pattern is no (not so much) different in the final suit. but we'll see. That is why I am assuming/hoping its a stunt suit or something; the detailing looks thicker, applied rather than painted on and much better in the high res Supes photo than in the video.
Wow. when you have it.. if you don't mind, a few pics would be great!Noticed it thanks to a thread dissecting the suit on the RPF from a bunch of high res close ups. Getting a replica suit made and shipped to me in a couple of weeks.

I sort of dislike the random line through the middle section of the S. I get that it's "not supposed to be an S" in the first place, but even so, there's a line going through the logo that I love.

Interesting the 'buckle' is part of a TDK logo-esque wing shape. Whereas in that promo pic it's seemingly 'floating' and unconnected to the rest of the belt. I like this better.
I don't see what you mean. Are you talking about the wrinkles around the buckle?
Perhaps there will be some reason given for the 'line', but as it is it seems an unnecessary and overly frilly ornamentation.I sort of dislike the random line through the middle section of the S. t: That suit has no definitive color!
