just curious, but exactly what kind of material does everyone think would be best to cover the armor if Nolan was to go the B:AA route for the next suit? i think some type of leather would be great.
thoughts???

hes not doing another batman film![]()

Mycroft, Sherlock's brother, is of superior intellect and deductive prowess. However his lack of ambition and ability to apply his natural talents makes him an inferior detective.
In other words Supes has the capability of being far smarter than Bruce, but because his priorities are more inclined towards activities that don't exert as much mental function, he has little use of it. Bruce on the other hand relies on his brain. It permeates his entire life. Coupled with his unmatched dedication to perfection, he would be considered the superior in that field.
...
are you implying that we are not getting a new suit for THIS film?
He's talking about TDKR.hes not doing another batman film![]()

In the film universe, it would be described as a nomex-kevlar biweave. In real life, it will probably be just nomex over a muscle suit like the Spider-Man movies, with a screen-printed texture that gives it the illusion of being a thicker, more durable material. The seams will also have a tough, nearly metallic texture built into them to make the fabric look reinforced.just curious, but exactly what kind of material does everyone think would be best to cover the armor if Nolan was to go the B:AA route for the next suit? i think some type of leather would be great.

I remember hearing years ago it was made out of nomex. But after doing research it was apparently made of Latex/polyutherane.Are you saying the costume makers for SM make the suit out of actual Nomex? I'm not saying I know they didn't, but I would find that very hard to believe. The cost would be 10x what it would cost for other materials...
We aren't getting fabric or leather over armor that's for sure. You don't just suddenly step completely out of a suit design, that's just utter nonsense when it comes to filmmaking

It's not stepping out of it, it's adding to it, evolving it. This has always been done in Batman films.
no, putting fabric or leather over armor...what? why is that necessary? for looks? that is stepping out of the design: this batsuit is meant to function for mobility. there is no point in putting fabric or leather over it because otherwise, we would already have a better looking suit than TDK. it wont happen in Nolans films, i can guarantee you
No he's not. Superman's Kryptonian brain makes him born smarter than any human will ever be.Batman is smarter than Superman (I don't know Mr. Terrific). Batman's tactical and strategical skills are a part of his greater intelligence. Correct me if I am wrong, but Bruce Wayne is the smartest non-metahuman man of the DCU.
Several technical reasons can be given for needing it. Just to name a few
-Fireproof
-Provides extra cushioning when taking direct heavy blows (weapons, or a huge f**king Bane).
-Or maybe his current suite gets decimated on his first encounter with Bane?
Nolan could do it, if he WANTED to, and he could make it "teh realz"
Depends what fabric it is. There is armour underneath as well, which you seem to have forgotten.hey um.....fabric isnt going to do squat against Bane
hey um.....fabric isnt going to do squat against Bane
Christian Bale isn't really going to fight Bane.hey um.....fabric isnt going to do squat against Bane

This seems to be inconsistent. To my recollection, Batman and Lex Luthor are more intelligent than him, with their battles being "brain vs. brawn". After all, if he were indeed smarter than any human, then any battle with Lex Luthor would be entirely pointless, because then Lex Luthor would would not be able to challenge him in any way, so Lex Luthor would be the most boring archenemy in the history comics.
Some writers ignore it because they aren't talented enough to write a character that is smart as well as strong. Although JMS may write boring turds of stories, he got it right in Earth One. And hopefully, given his track record with Supes Grant will do it right in Action.
