I like it. I think the cowl would look ten times better with the classic white eyes.

I dislike the black belt. Batman should have some colour on him. Even Nolan and Jim Lee kept it, despite their attempts to make batman more serious and practical looking.

Bruce Wayne is a loner. He does not like baggage that would slow him down from his one and only cause and mission in life..to fight crime. Im not talking about the series where he went back in time after being hit by the omega force, only to come back and create Batman INC. Im talking about the man who lives alone and thrives in dwelling in the dark depths of the Batcave. He might have trained various sidekicks, but i feel that was in hope to fill the void that was left when his family died right infront of him. Dick turned out alright, but when he grew older, he left, growing up to become Nightwing. Jason Todd's death at the hands of the Joker only added to the blackness of the Void inside Bruce. Barb Gordon getting maimed didnt help matters either. He always held himself responsible for anyone that got hurt. The man might surround himself with people..but he ALWAYS keeps them at an Arm's length, and on a need to know basis. People want to work with Batman, not the other way around..like you mentioned.

And thank god DC decided to get rid of that years ago. Bruce Wayne is normal now, he considers Dick his son, he loves him, even if he never says it out loud. Even if he knows Jason has been damaged by his whole life/death experience, he still invited him to join the family after his death, even though that shattered his psyche, he sees Tim as a son, and sees him as the true worlds greatest detective. It's not like he just takes in strays and lets them leave, he never wanted Dick to leave, he never wanted Cass to leave and he even put what was best for Damian over what was nessacarily for Gotham.

If Bruce didn't want to work with people why would he:

Let Alfred be the caretaker of the mission?
Take in 5 Robins?
3 Batgirls?
Several other vigilantes?
Become best friends, near enough brothers, with Superman and The Flash?
Form the Outsiders?
Join the Justice League?
Join JLI?
Form the club of Heroes?
Form Batman, Incorporated?

The first truth of Batman:

"I was never alone."

Right, then that Batman... who was losing his grip... met Tim Drake and trained him to be Robin III and his family just got bigger and bigger from there. Barb came in as Oracle, Nightwing joined up again, Huntress came into the fold, Catwoman became more integrated into the family, 2 new Batgirls came along (Cassy Cain and Steph Brown... who was also Spoiler and Robin IV), the whole Birds of Prey crew, the Outsiders etc.

Batman's not a loner. He's got his close knit Bat family and a whole slew of allies that answer to him. And that's before Batman Inc.

I would prefer at least some eye-makeup like in the movies, if not the lenses themselves.

I don't need color on Batman, he's the Dark Knight after all. Furthermore, a black belt can replace the trunks.

Regarding color, I know some here hate it, but I will forever love the symbol on the oval. It's not like it's so weird either, it's pretty much the Bat-signal in the sky.

I love the oval. Always have.

I prefer the simple black bat, at least in most situations. :batty: The only possible aesthetic justification for the :ybat: is on a black suit where the bat would blend in, and in the comics, he almost always wears gray.

I don't believe that being the only justification in any way.

By justification, I meant for aesthetic purposes. It worked in the Burton films, but in the comics, it just feels unnecessary, because it's on a gray surface where the black :batty: would stand out anyway.

Whatever. Superman still has the yellow behing the red \S/ even though the red would stand out on it's own from the blue anyway.
Not a good or valid reason to me for Batman.

The difference is that Superman has always had the yellow background for the :super:, while Batman's :ybat: came out of the 1960s. One has always had it, and the other was added for copyright purposes.

I don't mind the oval, but I always liked the black bat more.

If they ever were to go the "spandex/tights" route, I'd want this. Not over or under-designed, faithful, and looks good.

I still love this suit.

Only change I would make would be to make the gloves and boots black like the cowl/cape.

I think you're confusing that comment for the majority of fan manips of "cloth" over the BB & TDK suits.

Those are probably crappy too. I can still tell the difference.
