Look closely as Bale would say in the Prestige. He could have kicked him behind the knee but instead he bended all the way down.
Yes, I know that he's bending down--I just think he's hitting him with his forearms, not his elbows.

Just because he doenst use a lot of elbows in one scene it doesnt mean he doesnt do it in others.
But it's not just one scene, it's three. In fact, I posted every major combat scene in The Dark Knight, with the exception of the Hong Kong scene. If you're still not convinced, well:

I see one or two things that might be elbows, but it's hard to tell in that video. They could easily not be.

So, there it is. Every significant fight in The Dark Knight, and there's no abundance of elbows in any of them. Elbow argument: dead.

You say forearms, i saw elbows. He basically has his hands on his head for the whole time regardless of whether its the elbow, the wrist, or the forearm he uses. I think its not open enough.

As I already said, if you have other complaints about the fights, that's great--I'm just killing the elbow argument. It's dead, forever.

You know what annoys me about the fight scenes?

That Batman seems to possess superhuman strength, to the point where mildly punching The Joker in the gut sends him flying across the room.

He's had ninja training and plus...he's Batman!!

He was using the one-inch punch!

I don't recall him flying across the room. If you watch it again, when Joker gets hit in the stomach/chest he does a hopping kind of move backwards from the impact of the punch. He doesn't go flying back like they would when using wire work.

There's a fight scenes thread though...

For those who want blue instead of black after 1:34...

Hate to break it to ya, but that doesn't happen... Yeah... this is awkward...

Exactly.

Can we stop making ridiculous exaggerations now, please?

I was gonna post this earlier. The Jim Lee cowl he's rocking looks great.

I'm not really a "blue Batman" person, but that shade of blue actually looks pretty fantastic--that's the shade you might see on somebody like Solid Snake or Sam Fisher--or really, an actual soldier or SWAT officer.

That Blue Batman in that video, looks like Tom Cruise is under the mask haha

I really like the cowl too. The part where he goes, "He's my sidekick!" always gets me.

How do you guys feel about Batman having white eyes?

Before I always thought something like the mask in the Daredevil film would've been cool to see. But, after seeing what they did with GL or even Rorschach, the CGI route could be another way to go.

LOL! God, I love me some Tim and Eric.

"Bwwaaah! Bwwwaaah!"

I wonder if Nolan would even do a Metal Gear movie. Doesn't seem like his type of flick. Him, Michael Mann, or JJ Abrams would all blow my mind though.
