Do you really hate your avatar?

While I realize you were just being sarcastic towards me, I'll address your question anyway. I think the obvious answer would be "no", or else I wouldn't have had it for the past seven months. While I'm not crazy about Batman's long "ears" in the Arkham games, I like the picture overall quite a bit so I use it as my avatar.

Also, "hate" might be too severe a word for how I feel about Batman having long "ears". I just have a very strong preference for shorter "ears" such as in Nolan's films and Jim Lee's artwork.

I don't think the initial concept is totally accurate of what Kane intended. "The Bat" came out in 1929 and it's clear that Kane drew inspiration from it. It's practically the Bat-Man we know today aside from being an antagonist.

Bill Finger, however, is the man that created the whole persona and character, and created most of the rogues gallery.

This one by R teest gives a pretty good idea of what we might be getting. I would be fine with something like that only with fixing the neck to remove the ringed look but still allow movement. I'm sure they can come up with something.

It was definitely Bane--I double checked the old thread, and Bane mentioned that R-teest was just some guy who reposted other people's work on deviant art, and that Bane himself was the original creator.

These two were made by GortAGoGo on deviantart. The first is a blending of the begins and returns suit that looks very nice, and the second, while armor heavy, would work very well for a Bane fight.

My gawd, I hope we see something like this in the next film. It's basically a well balanced mixture of both the BB and TDK suits. The grey and black is more noticeable and that Bat symbol on the chest is the perfect size and has the right look. Far better than TDK's look of the chest symbol and the size. The shape of this suit is good and it is not as busy as the TDK suit either. I would like to see the pointy ears be slightly shorter though.

It would allow less top heavy weight on the head and for Bale to be able to control his head movement even more IMO.

I love this design and look for the suit! I would also like the cape draped over his shoulders more on this suit.

Good work, but what ruins this is Welling and Rosenbum being in it.

That BB/TDK manip is horrible if you ask me. Its just as busy and robotic as the TDK suit, but its painted black and grey. Big whoop.

Beautiful, I've been saying it since before Begins, straighten the ears and fix the mouth opening and the cowl will look 100x better.

That BB/TDK manip is horrible if you ask me. Its just as busy and robotic as the TDK suit, but its painted black and grey. Big whoop.

I like the subtle yet effective changes. It's nothing radical, but a nice hybrid and mix of the BB and TDK suits.

I totally agree, and I know you Indy are a fellow Smallville fan, but that's not what makes it great. Even if you guys have an anti-smallville bias, like Dark Knight said, you can't deny they are cool designs.

I agree 100%!
Maybe if the neck and head blended a bit better. As it stands now he looks like a Batman PEZ dispenser.
