I'm thinking more of Snake's sneaking suit or Raiden's skull suit from Metal Gear Solid 2.

The MGS4 suit was just one of many disappointments I had with MGS4.

The MGS 2 suit is really cool, even though it has a g-string attached to it:p

But I actually liked the MGS4 suit. Really loved the idea of an under-suit with those plates on it, and it didn't look so busy. But thats my humble opinion:)

But the BB suit unpainted looked really cool, especially that one scene when he wears it infront of the waterfall in the batcave.

Why...? I loved the Octocamo suit.
I just wasn't fond of Snake wearing an exoskeleton-like suit. It was a far cry from what he has worn in the past. And the combination of that suit and the moustache just killed it for me.

I know. I'm peculiar.

See what ya mean. But didn't it also help his body, with him rapidly aging?

Anyway, I'd like to see something in the style of MGS. Although I didn't hate the BB suit nor the TDK suit.

While not perfect, i'm posting the AA suit to show you guys that a grey suit from durable cloth can actually work and be awesome.

Yeah, the Arkham City suit is beautiful.
I like the materials and the overal concept but other than that its kinda gaudy. I mean its a game, why did they need to have the rubber cowl over the cape Begins style? Couldnt they make them one? And then there's those gauntlets and boots (MY EYES, THEY BURN!!!) and the fact that everyone is built like Bane. I dont know what they re thinking but it could be related to the fact that they re using the Unreal graphics engine, so...

Other than that, AA was one of the best games i ever played. I've never felt more immersed in the Batman world and it didnt have to do with the fact that i was controlling him, but with the atmosphere, the characters, the cameos everywhere i looked, the voices (Hamil, Conroy, Sorkeen), etc.

Here's the rest of the article on AC for anyone who's interested. For some reason Imageshack adjusts the pics' dimensions once you open those thumbnails so if you cant read them, just right click and press "show picture" or save to your PC.

Can't wait for that game! Think they brought the best from burton and nolans movies, and mixed it nicely with TAS and the comics. As you said mr Earle, the boots and especially the fins on his gauntlets could have been altered, and I dont fancy Batman beint a big pack of meat and muscle.

Penguin looks fantastic!!!!

I love everything about AA's costume other than the cape. I wish it were longer and covered his body when not in action. But I love the cowl, boots, gauntlets, etc. :)

And the reason everyone is so big is because Rocksteady wanted to portray them in their game the same way the characters are portrayed in the comics. I'm glad Batman was huge. I know you may say Gordon didn't need to be that big, but I liked how he looked beefy.

Yeah he does. But read all that stuff about the Riddler. If you loved his riddles and taunts in the first one, you re gonna love this.

I also heard that Talia will be in it and i cant wait to see how it goes. I'm guessing she pops in to help him with ninjas, or maybe talk to him about something we might see in the sequel?

Here's the list:
>All confirmed villains
Joker, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Penguin, Riddler, Two-Face, Calender Man, Talia, Mr. Freeze, Killer Croc, Bane, Poison Ivy, Solomon Grundy, Black Mask, Zasz, Hugo Strange.
>Rumored Villains.
Scarecrow, Clayface, Man-Bat.

Yeah i have the same problem with it. It looks like Superman's cape and it shouldnt. It should cloak him when he's standing and when he's fighting it should clump up over his shoulders. Am i asking for too much?

I think it has to do with the graphics engine because i cant explain Gordon anyway else.

I dont mind the comic book dimensions, but eh... when everyone is that huge it seems a bit bad.

yeah exactly, I like bat's design in the game, overall. His boots are easy enough to ignore but those gloves and gauntlets are just plain overkill especially since it looks like he's wearing spandex anyway. And it begs the question as to why a dude in his underwear needs so much arm protection. On top of that his arms are thicker than tree trunks and the extra armor only makes him look disproportionally beefier than he already is.
Separate cape and cowl I don't have a problem with, it could have been done a little more seamlessly, but like the boots it's not that noticeable.

Considering they're using the Unreal engine, which is already starting to show its age, yeah, I think you're asking for too much. :(

I doubt it's completely UE3's fault. Although it tends to give every character model a bulky frame, it didn't cause Joker, Harley, Scarecrow, etc. to look small.

I think it was a creative choice to have Gordon that big.

AWESOME!!!!

Thanks Earle

AA suit is perfect to me. No petty gripes here.
