the lighting of the picture of bruce with the batsuit on display in the compartment is bright and the color of the light itself is white.

the lighting of the picture of bane and batman fighting is dimly lit. in addition, the light of the room/area in the background is blue.

i assume that bane and batman are fighting in the sewers simply because of the discrepancies in the lighting and the two settings. the batcave, being rebuilt and renovated, shouldn't look so filthy and unkempt.

but...to provide a counter-argument. the batcave could have a section where it wasnt improved and this is where batman and bane are shown fighting in.

or...the fight between batman and bane initially starts in the sewer system beneath gotham city and, due to the massive and gargantuan nature of the battle between the two, ends up in the batcave. methinks nolan will give us a 30 minute one shot fight sequence between batman and bane.:oldrazz:

I just like the idea of Bruce Wayne coming home after a battle walking into the cave only to find bane and his goons there, it would be the absolute last place anyone would be expecting him to be (the GA at least) people would lose their s**t.

And he beats him...in his cave, it just packs more of a punch to me i guess.

Agreed. Too bad the whole "after a battle" thing can't seem to happen because it's apparently Bane who forces him "back into action" according to what we know. Maybe after something to do with Selina? Eh.

Considering how Bane one-shotted CIA, Weak Batman (Bruce W. before imprisonment) will be down after 10 strikes.

As for Batcave. I think, overall color scheme and light setup of the Batcave is totally different from that place where Bane and Batman fight.

He could still do that. I think it was rags who said maybe after the stock exchange scene, Bruce finds the ipad with wayne manor blueprints and finds alfred beaten half to death (eek) and bane waiting down there for him.

That is something I'd like to see.

Good version.

Somehow, I think, Nolan won't go this way. Bane ambushed Batman in the Batcave in the comics. Manor was attacked in BB. And in the third movie, AGAIN, rebuilt manor is captured, Bane attacks Batman in the Batcave. More of that, the same, only without Bane, happens in Batman Forever. Nolan is smarter than that.

Guys, stop calling a label-less tablet an Ipad. Bats doesn't use labels other than his own.

I don't know about anyone else, but I think that Bruce will be back in action as Batman (trying to stop Bane's initial acts) for at least an Half hour to 45 minutes before Bane "breaks" him and puts him in prison and blows up the Stadium.

Then after he's broken, we'll have a nice, lengthy amount of the film showing what Bane, Gordon, and Blak, etc are doing on the outside and what Bruce is doing on the inside, including his training.

Finally after Bruce, and Gotham's Elite, escape, we get the epic finale of the film.

Oh yeah he's definitely going to be batman in the first 45 mins, but he won't truly be the dark knight we all know and love until the 3rd act.

People are gonna complain that there was too little Batman again like when BB came out.

Well considering the near overabundance of Batman we got in TDK, I personally won't care.

I think we need more Bruce.

Getting his butt kicked in the batcave is every fanboy's wetdream. Its gonna happen.

I really don't think the fight is in the Batcave. Otherwise, Bane would probably blow it up and all of Batman's equipment.

Including the Batpod, Batsuit, and (possibly rebuilt) Tumbler.

IDK though, its possible but I think the sewer/water system is more plausible.

BTW, Have we all come to the conclusion that the Rotor blade tech mentioned in TDK has something to do with The Bat?

Amazing how the poster pretty much predicted The Dark Knight Rises correctly even with Bane (exception of Catwoman) before Dark Knight came out.:woot:

It sure felt like Batman was more in TDK.

I think it's because the Batman scenes are more spread out in TDK than in BB.

Same amount of Batman in TDKR as BB and TDK is ok with me but TDKR needs more Bruce than what TDK offered. It doesn't have to be as much as in BB with the new characters and all that but it definitely needs more Bruce than in TDK specially since this is the last of the trilogy.

Batman doesn't need to be on screen long, they just need him to make more of an impression. Heath's runtime was pretty small too but he pretty much owned the film.

Heath's screentime was perfect. Not too little and not too much.

Nicholson's Joker only had 5 min more screen time than Batman, and most people acted like he had about 30 min more.

Nah, there was more Batman in TDK.

Mainly because in Batman Begins it only seems like there was alot of Batman because most of the scenes/sequences with him were rather long compared to TDK where there were many separate scenes with him as well as extended scenes/sequences.

They promised me this would go back to being Bruce's story so, i don't care how long he wears the cowl for I just want the focus to be his again.

I'm pretty much on the same boat.
