The beams and perfect angles not to mention the flooring alone is something out of a sewer system not a cave.

I want it to be the batcave myself, but by all indications of this picture, it looks more like they're in a sewer.

The reasons you gave are actually why I think it IS the Batcave lol
In the scenes from BB where Wayne Manor is being destroyed in the elevator shaft system you can see the metal grating is very much like the kind in the debated "Team Cave or Sewer" photo. Also as I've said in previous posts I've never seen a sewer that looks like that before, not saying their aren't any, I'm just saying I've never seen one like that. Especially with such good lighting and multi-tiered, with clean looking waterfalls...which we also saw in the BB Batcave. Since the new cave will be decked out with all sorts of new gadgets and must fit The Bat (theoretically) etc, etc. I think it's a strong possibility that its the Cave. But I could be wrong :)

Also and maybe more importantly, after studying all of the photos and rumors very carefully over the past year or however long it's been I think I can FINALLY say without a shadow of a doubt that I KNOW what the plot of this movie will revolve around. It's something that will affect everyone around the world to such a degree that noone will ever be the same again...

Maybe the sewers lead into the batcave? Those tunnels certainly lead to something if Bruce's grandfather kept transporting those slaves to their apparent freedom.

I remember reading a rumor of the confrontation between Bats & Bane, saying that it's underneath the stadium before Bane demos the football field. Could be a sewer, could be something else. We'll find out 7/20 either way.

Well if Gordon is underneath the sewer or the stadium and gets beat to crap by Bane, then batman is clearly not active yet.

Man, thanks for posting that. I completely forgot about it. It does look like the same aesthetic as the "sewer". Also, you might wanna put that in spoiler tags, it's stretching the page a bit.

Have you seen Catwoman? Batman will certainly be active, just not crime fighting.:cwink:

Yes but unless Batman returns to the collapsed stadium, his fight with bane isn't there. I don't doubt that Bane has a lair of some sort in the sewers in which he traps Gordon, but im not entirely convinced it's the same place where Bane and Batman fight.

In the pic of Bane facing Batman, you can see some blueish light in the area behind the mercenary watching them. Unless sewer systems have some kind of maintenance stations like that, I'm leaning toward the cave.

Agreed. These are the same reasons why I think it's the cave, too.

Team Cave thanks your contributions.

God I know its a dreaded fan hope, but i want it so much to be the cave. To get beat in your own cave, that's just cold.

Yeah, I just want it to be the cave, because it's homage to the comics.

We'll see. I wouldn't be surprised if it is the sewers, though. But I just don't think it is because of the lighting and how clean it looks.

The fact he's allegedly missing in action for eight years has made this notion less "cool" to me. It's funny because I've always hoped for that scene of Bane in the cave, but when I saw the scene that could potentially be that, I joined Team Sewer... :o I think it's the continuity issue that bugs me, but the image posted earlier helps.

Ok just stop with this "Team This/Team That" crap..it's getting a little too Twilighty for me in here gall...

The only thing that speaks against Batcave for me is that The Bat and Batpod are active till the very end. That means, there's a place where these techs are being stationed. As well as Batsuit and other equipment.

The batsuit is in water, which that pic shows there being a waterfall. Not too sure about the batpod, but it could be there, maybe we just can't see it. As for The Lobster: Batman may not get that until midway into the movie. I don't think he has it right of the bat.

1) Can you provide the proof that Batsuit is in water? I heard about it here and there, but nothing official.
2) If Batpod is in the cave, why Bane doesn't destroy or capture it?
3) Considering the fact, that cops chase Batman and he escapes them on The Bat (if what spectators said is true), he does have it pretty early in the movie.

I think it was in an article. I'll try to find it in about 30-40 min when I get back home.

Maybe it was stolen....by Catwoman. There are theories out there that Catwoman sides with Bane in the beginning, and then she changes her mind afterwords. So maybe she took it.

Does that chase take place at the beginning of the movie? How do you know that?
