That sentiment has never made sense to me. Both are films about Batman, both are "Batman movies". The better film is the better film.
What's not to understand? Batman Begins feels like it was made for fans. TDK feels like it was made for the public.
The 2nd one looked like a fan made poster. Not that it's a bad thing but it has that vibe.
It's going to be hard to top this but I hope they can:

That's pretty badass!
Same here. I won't lie, the Bane one with the broken mask was kind of cool, but ultimately it's not what I would call great.

Looking at this pic makes me realize how similar the designs of those posters from Rises and Begins are...the perspective of looking up in a street with buildings around and see the figure of the bat, even at kind of the same angle.I know this isn't the correct thread, but in the interest of teaser posters.....a glimpse of my office, it's been about 5 years since I shared this....Hunter will remember this....

Thanks, should I post a pic from the other side? Got a ton more merchandise, LOL...

I really like the teaser poster with the symbol made up of the sky and crumbling buildings. I like the second one, but I now think it could have done without Bane in it. The shattered cowl on the rain soaked ground is a strong enough image on its own IMO.
Hell yeah!

Yeah, the first poster with the crumbling buildings was simple yet effective. I remember some people saying they showed the Bane one to their friends and they thought it was Batman/Bruce walking away from the cowl. Maybe they should have had Bane facing forwards in the foreground next to the cowl but that wouldn't have looked much better to be honest.
The more I see that poster the more I don't like it. i know art is subjective but come on...anyone could see that leaving Bane out of the photo would have had a better effect, or to have the poster with Bane holding the mask.
The way they have it is confusing. Who is that? why is he walking away? did he break the mask?
Is that Henry Cavill's face in the rain?
This thread will be closed soon....and I'm not talking in the "Thread manager" sense.

That was me. I showed it to my friend (who loved TDK and BB but is not really a hardcore Batman fan) and she asked me if Batman changed suits and why is his suit sleeveless now. I told her that's Bane and I got a "who's that?" reply.![]()
