The funny thing is the guy doing the push-ups in the prison scene in the trailer doesn't have any scars. I'm still positive that's Bruce though and not Bane or young Ra's.

Hmm. Interesting... but yeah after seeing Bruce in a prison just like it, it has to be him.

Yeah, I was confident that its' Bale back when the teaser was released but seeing him in the prison scene in the trailer (specially with the beard) sealed it for me. Still weird though that he doesn't have the scars anymore. Unless it was just not obvious anymore.

Well the bruises are simple to explain. Just because the suit you are wearing is tear resistant and bullet proof, doesn't mean it hurts anyless when you get punched or kicked.

Bruising is possible.

As far as the cuts go, that suit does have weak points, albeit few.
