Thought I'd make it weirder...:woot: :oldrazz:

The only Kanye song I know is Golddigger...

Kanye West pales in comparison to the awfulness that is Bruno Mars.

The sad part is that "Grenade" perfectly sums up Bruce's relationship with Rachel.

But his pain is over......

DING DONG, ***** IS DEAD, THE ***** IS DEAD, THE ***** IS DEAD!

I'm serious. Try listening to his song from the Twilight soundtrack and not fly into a fit of white-hot rage.

I nearly swerved off the highway once I was so angry.

LOL, I was agreeing with you. I friggin hate Bruno Mars.

My point is that just because you exclude pop songs form a movie, doesn't automatically make it timeless. Many societal trends will be apparent in most movies through cars, fashion, technology, etc. Those are things that you can't escape for the most part. Most movies that feel "timeless" are mainly sci-fi or period pieces, but even then, after awhile, the technology that made the movie alone will show its age. Just look at Star Wars. It's almost in a timeless setting, other than the fact that some of the technology looks wonky and dated, because that's all they had to use in the '70s.

Of course not, and I agree. All movies age and look old at some point, but I was applying "timeless" in a less physical sense and more towards the story and drama elements of film. You can write a crap film, and have entirely original music conducted by an orchestra and it will still be crap 30 years later.

If you look at a movie like The Searchers with John Wayne, it's obvious that it's an old film, but the themes and motives, with the help of the score, are just as relevant and powerful more than 50 years later. So in that regard, that film is timeless, but of course it physically looks, old.

In 10 years from now, I can guarantee you that these bat-flicks will show their age. It's inevitable.

Well Begins is 7 years old and I think it still looks pretty great, but I agree, they'll appear old at some point, but the themes and story will still pack the emotional punch years from now, and the original score plays a large part in that I believe.

Holy mother of... sorry, that just didn't occur to me until you pointed it out. I feel old

Something being dated doesn't mean it can't be awesome.

Anyway I just saw Contagion, didn't like it that much but thought it was fun that both Talia and Lau was in it :o. Also – Marion is mighty purty.

Aint Ramirez in it also? i haven't seen the film but thats whats been said before.

Chau = Charred Lau

This is true. I find it ASTOUNDING how many people didn't notice Lau was on top of the money pile Joker set on fire.

I guess it was the lack of cringe inducing, agonizing, and just plain horrifying screams that were absent from the film..............

I proudly don't know any Kanye West songs to give suggestions... :o

I love the fact that Nolan doesn't use any pop/mainstream music for his movies, (This is the part where I get stoned) but Lady Gaga's "Scheiße" fits perfectly as a theme song for Catwoman.

I was gonna agree with this until I read the last part. :o
