possibly. Doubt it! I think he was embarrassed for the amateur mistake since he usually is a respected blogger (From what people tell me at least IDK I never heard of this guy or his blogs). He is lucky it was just a tweet and not a blog lol

i agree with u

:lmao: So I just got done reading the end of the last thread, you guys are ridiculous.

Personally, I'm happy about this tweet and believe it. Not just because of the inevitable stir of hilarity it caused in this thread but also because it gleams at just how divisive this film is going to be, any less of a reaction and I'd have been disappointed. From what we can already put together in terms of this being a civil war film with the conflict between the social classes, and the fact it's Chris freakin' Nolan, it would be an exaggeration to call a plot summary "awful", and that's the point, there's a detail in the plot, probably one that breaks some sort of preconceived notion of what Batman is supposed to be, that in written form has got on this guys nerves.

I don't know about the rest of you, but as long as the story and characters are as rich and well executed as it looks, I doubt very much the whole film is going to suffer because of a simple plot detail kept under wraps that the guy has been privy to. I just don't judge movies like that. I know some do though, and again, I like that, I'm looking for a "daring" ending. It's very difficult imo to say a movie sounds awful without seeing it, so it's a petty issue here, not the bulk of the film, one you might even end up enjoying.

Looks like i missed a hell of a party. You'd think we'd gotten our first negative review...nope just some guy just said the plot sounds awful. A plot we already pretty much know of. *sigh* Don't scare me like that again Bat-boards.

Of course i'm late to this but that Mt. Dew ad was awesome, and some of the chrysler footage... my god, dat cinematography :wow:

hey guys, what happened with this kris guy? was it false information or was he just misunderstoof?

Regarding the tweet: Debate is fun, but in general I'm happy to accept someone's opinion regarding something and don't hold any grudge for them thinking what they think. The guy could have said the plot point was an abomination and I'm cool. We need to see the film first, lol.

Nope, he's legit.

Gentlemen, it's been a pleasure hyping with you all. But this tweet is too much, one person disliked a description of the film, the TDKR is now sinking and it's time to abandon ship! Man the lifeboats, boycott the film, Christopher Nolan is a hack! He doesn't understand Batman! The trilogy is doomed! It's over! Sayonara! The trilogy curse endures!

I'm pretty sure half of us on this board could write that plot break down accurately, the point is, we know pretty much all of what he saw and thought (and well within his rights to think) was "awful", heck if i recall early on in production, tons of people here thought half the plot points were awful when they were first revealed to us.

I risk sounding over-protective, but it's not even over a review of any kind.

Nah i respect the guy somewhat for willingly facing the ire of bat-fanboys, god i can't wait for the backlash at the first negative review...death threats and all...great name for us Bat/Nolan fans. :whatever:

I wonder who in the cast is most likely to pull off a Samuel L Jackson on a critic...

Hoping to God Ra's "Legend, Mr Wayne" quote will be used in the ending.

Insomnia is his least film but it's a damn good character study that has three outstanding performances, one of which is Pacino's last great performance.

The Following is a rough film, considering how it was put together but you saw that the talent was there.

Anyone think Mountain Dew will release their own (and much more superior) trailer for TDKR? similar to the way Dominos did for TDK?

One can only hope.
