Crazy!Bruce will make me so happy. Especially when he's interacting with Maid!Selina. :hrt:

That was one of my "gripes" with the first two films, not enough troubled, brooding Bruce, and it definitely seems we'll be getting some of that in Rises. :woot:

And by "intereacting" you mean....
firing crossbows at? :awesome: :hehe:
I'm excited to see how Howard Brughes treats Alfred and other people in general. :funny:

I have theories about some people liking BB over TDK. It's mostly preference but I still stick to the idea that comic book fans prefer BB, and film geeks/populous prefer TDK. BB's dialog is more poetic but I can sense his limitations as a writer sometimes. TDK's dialog is better written, especially the Joker's. It's iconic.

Now I do get upset when the same people claim that the fight scenes are better in BB than TDK. I'll call them out. Both have flaws with the fights, but BB's fight scenes are just a nagging flaw that hurts an otherwise great film. That and some weird editing but I'm forgiving because it was Nolan's first big blockbuster.

TDK's fight scenes are poorly staged but it IS an improvement. Not a fan of them, but I can tolerate them. Both have great car chases though.

I've always thought TDK was the better film, but I enjoyed BB more.

Im reasonable and dont bust a giant fanboy nut when someone states that it was better than TDK (I like BB better). By all means be excited but ill tell you again lets be reasonable here :yay:
the quote changed alittle so you should re-quote that ok lol but yes Im reasonable but the fact that I'm so reasonably sane that I just blew your mind enough to know that TDKR is going to rise to the top as the best movie of the year or maybe best of all time.BUT!

I'm taking my words for it. *points to the countdown* wait and see for yourself and prove yourself half wrong. :woot: lol TDKR is gonna blow your mind all over the theater once the last 15 mins hits you and me like lighting. :oldrazz:

Heck yeah! I'm so excited for that scene. :hehe:

Yup! I'm also looking forward to that described scene of bearded Bruce moping at the Batcave and just staring at the Batcomputers. :hrt:

Begins is a top 30 favorite film of mine, TDK is a top 5. I love Begins but in the end Goyer was just a little more involved than he should be.

*drools* :hrt:

I've been wanting a scene like that for years. I wonder if he'll be looking up Selina?

Probably. They did say that she was one of the reasons that brought him out of his Howard Brughes stage. Maybe he's moping because he felt like he lost his touch and he can't believe that some woman stole from him. :awesome:

okay we have opened pandora's box with BB vs TDK. moving on!

I absolutely love Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Both films sit pretty in spots on my top ten list. While I like the latter just a little bit more than the former, judging which movie is better is kinda like judging which one of your kids you like the most :funny: And besides let's face it - the only thing as bad as an Avengers vs. TDKR debate is a Batman Begins vs. The Dark Knight debate. When someone disagrees with me on my film choices, I usually just blame it on Aesthetic Relativism and then leave it at that :woot:

I think this film is also a major reason Nolan dropped his Howard Hughes film. I believe he added many elements from that screenplay to this film.

I hope Nolan does 'Interstellar' written by Jonah.

Definitely. The moment I saw that pic of Bale and the described scenes, I knew that Nolan already brought some Howard Hughes elements to TDKR.

I do too but it seems that Jonah wants to take a stab at directing it.

INtestellar sounds too good to pass up. i just don't want it to be stuck in development hell.

All of this is based on one guy saying it was unbelevable?

No, not just that. But the fact millions of people out there are awaiting for this and are without a doubt know its going to be LEGENDARY. :woot:

Nolan won't fail. He's made something that only god gifted people dear not DREAM OF! lol :whatever:
But all in all, don't take my word for it. Just wait and see, it's going to storm cinema up through the sky. >x)

I thought it was going to be Directed by Spielberg with a Screenplay written by J Nolan. Honestly though I would prefer one of the Nolan's do it themselves. Whatever. Excited for it either way.

Nolan was gonna do a Howard Hughes film? Hm. I don't see how he could've improved on The Aviator. That's one of my favorite movies. (Do we really need another movie telling the story of Howard Hughes, anyway?)

But putting some Howard Hughes into Bruce sounds awesome!

I love the way you describe stuff its hilarious. Cant wait to talk to you on July 20-21 after this thing comes out when we actually know what happens.

Isn't Spielberg doing that?

Spielberg is at a weird place in his career. The man has done almost everything you can image. But he has a packed schedule. He's finishing Lincoln, then he's off to do Roboapocolypse which sounds kinda awful.

Yeah, I think he has a script for it, or something like that. But I agree, I don't know how he would've made it better than The Aviator. I really liked that movie.
