I know Bane's origin story of being raised in prison and experimented on, but I still don't know what any of that has to do with Batman and Gotham.

Every time I see the video thread bumped, I think it's going to be an MD trailer similar to the Domino's one we got in 2008.

I haven't paid attention to the MD Gotham site at all- does anyone know if we're getting an additional trailer?

I doubt it. There's a full length Nokia trailer and a MD tv ad.

The Dark Night Rises is screening tonight and tomorrow night in LA for the junketeers attending Sunday's press conference. It's also screening twice in Manhattan on Tuesday, 7.10 -- an afternoon IMAX showing and a regular-regular one. I'm told it won't screen for LA journos who aren't regular junket-freeloaders until after Comic-Con (Thursday, 7.12 through Sunday, 7.15), which means either Monday the 16th or Tuesday the 17th. WB is saying no print reviews may appear earlier than Wednesday, 7.18 and no online reviews in any form earlier than Tuesday, 7.17.

This is a very good point. I wouldn't doubt it.

Maybe she really is playing Talia's mother and Ra's's wife, and Hardy is actually playing two characters-Bane and his father. Considering his mouth is covered for most of if not all the movie, he could pretty easily be made up as a different character before Bane is fully transformed.
