Has anyone said anything about Bruce maybe using the cane because of his fall at the end of The Dark Knight? At least I think that's the case. Remember how he was kind of hobbling towards The Batpod while the dogs were chasing him? Just a thought.

That's not a half bad idea.

and his alibi could be from the Lambo crash

I think you're probably right.

Also remember Sal walked with a cane shortly after Batman dropped him from that building. Just throwing that out there.

It's possible. It will also explain why the city doesn't seem to be already on lockdown (as oppose to the theory that if Bane caused the limp then why is the city still alive and buzzing?). That would mean though that his fall at the end of TDK caused him to be gone for a while (the press were asking him where he's been).

He could say he fled Gotham after Rachel and Harvey's death and Joker's siege on Gotham

I find it curious that the hostage and the biker in those pics are wearing the same kind of gloves.

This bike sequence is ambitious, it could look unintentionally hilarious.

an older Bruce Wayne? How about Stephen Lang?

Good call but maybe not old enough for Batman Beyond's Bruce Wayne.

Agreed.

BB: Dark, worn down, and old.

TDK: Light, clean, and new.

Rusty brown and Icy blue is how I always think of them. :D

He also got shot.

rashad, i am quite entranced by your moving bane there.

Go see the prologue in IMAX, cause the trailer will be up on the internet in 720p before you know it.

You'll get to watch both. Just not in theaters unless you plan on seeing both Mission Impossible and SH2. If not, I'd say watch the prologue in theaters since that won't be released online and you can see the second trailer online shortly after.

I've approached the issue with the same logic... however, MI4 is a film I do not wish to witness. I'm still having Vietnam-ism flashbacks from MI2. :(

*shudders*

DoomsdayApex kill that nonsense. all MI movies have been pretty good.

Says you.

I've found the last two to be incredibly unsettling and tedious.

That's a pretty good theory actually.

Who cares, as long as Bruce names it Michael.:rimshot:

Great point! I didn't expect the story to pick up right after TDK, but I think you may be in to something (he's definitely not gimpy in those shots with JGL, which is presumably later in the story).

Can't wait for Batman's preachy speech on the financial crisis.

BATMAN (Bale's raspy voice): Sometimes it not good enough to blame your own problems... your misfortunes... on those who are better off than you... the rich. Sometimes you have to take responsibility for yourself, and aspire to be great, like those in the 1%.

Quite a good idea. If the cane is from TDK damage...I fear what he'll be like after Bane.

I think it may be Gordon that gets his back broken by Bane, not Bruce. (But I do think Bruce will take some heavy beating)
