Good point, herolee10. Never thought about that and how difficult it would be for Gordon.

Someone said it was in a museum, but I can't remember if that was the Dent memorial or the masquerade ball.

Did they say the TDK mask was provided by Fox along with the rest of the new suit? I don't remember that. I would imagine Bruce made a new one to go along with the new suit.

Bruce asks Fox for a new suit in TDK. He wants to be able to turn his head. Would sure make backing out of the driveway easier.

Bruce asks Fox for a new suit in TDK. He wants to be able to turn his head. Would sure make backing out of the driveway easier.

It would only make sense to have Fox make the whole suit, I mean yes Bruce has the designs for what he wants, but Fox has to make it, might as well have him make the whole suit.

Personally, I always thought he was going to get a new suit, one that provided more protection against the powerful Bane, but I guess Nolan is opposed to a new suit every film...although it has been 8 years, but there are many questions left unanswered.

Here's a theory: when Alfred says he's failed to protect Bruce (the most powerful moment in the trailer, I think), it sounds like they're having a falling out--as in Knightquest, when Alfred chose to leave Bruce's employ rather than watch him destroy himself by pushing himself too hard.

I wonder if that's where this conversation is going.

Here's a theory: when Alfred says he's failed to protect Bruce (the most powerful moment in the trailer, I think), it sounds like they're having a falling out--as in Knightquest, when Alfred chose to leave Bruce's employ rather than watch him destroy himself by pushing himself too hard.

That would be so heartbreaking to watch Alfred walk out on Bruce. That shot of him on the balcony with his cane does have a very lonely feeling though. What if that's after Alfred leaves him?

Wouldn't that be in direct contrast of what Alfred told him in BB?

Mind you, Alfred was already noticing the damage Bruce was taking in TDK, when he told him "know your limits". I just don't see Alfred walking out on him, but it would be HELLA dramatic.

I definitely love on how TDKR really ties deeply in with the events that took place from the last TWO films; makes it feel all connected...

I'm also hoping that with Bruce being presented so lonely and in despair at the beginning of the film, that this means that by the end of it, he'd have found some closure and peace in his life and be able to move on happily.

It's probably a yearly memorial that they do. Harvey's legacy must have made one hell of an impact on Gotham if they are memorializing him like this every year. I'm guessing Harvey is responsible for Gotham being in "peace time" now, and Gordon being made surplus to requirements.

I am really curious as to what the Harvey Dent act is. I also can't wait to see how much Gotham hates Batman for thinking he killed Dent as well as all the people Dent actually killed as Two Face.

Yeah I don't think that Alfred will abandon Bruce. This is the time that Bruce needs him the most. I think if anything Alfred just feels guilty that he alowed Bruce to live his life like this.

I wouldn't think so. IF that character is truly still alive, he won't show up before the final act of the film I'd believe, and I don't believe he is alive at all... What we see of him, we'll see in flashbacks... I simply think it's Bruce Wayne standing there.

I wonder what sort of running time this movie will end up getting?! I have a feeling it'll be the longest of them all, no matter what. That's not just wishful thinking here. This movie definitely LOOKS to be the one with the most to cover! Something around 2:40 HOURS, I seriously don't believe is way out of left field here. What do you guys think?

This is going to sound really movie nerdish but it looks as if there's three different colour schemes in this film. Warm yellow like in Begins, muted blue like TDK and what looks like desaturated colour similar to the Rises posters.
