Because I don't need to think everything in TDKR is going to be good based off first appearances.
Why'd you take out Clash of the Titans out of my quote?

Because I don't need to think everything in TDKR is going to be good based off first appearances.

I do in the respect i can see where Burton drew inspiration. aside from that no, the characters are very different, Gordon not being a very evolved character in the film and a less sadistic Joker in the film.

No, because he's able to look past his own wants and acknowledge that the no-all be-all of everything. He doesn't like the idea of in the light but at the same time he's not going to mention over and over and over and over how it has no chance in working.
9/11 actually happened in real life, and was executed by real terrorists. Bane isn't real, neither is Gotham or Batman. It shouldn't matter what happens in real life, cause these movies are fictional.I hate to bring up 911 but that happened at 9am . If Batman was real , you think he would be off the clock during the threat of a terrorist act...
I don't find it that ridiculous. It's just the kind of atmosphere that certain people like to see their favorite characters in.I am sorry , you can hate the Catwoman outfit, Bane's voice etccc , but this no day light rule is so godamn ludicrious that you should not even bother seeing the movie because if that bothers you there ain't any hope
Are you refering to the 60's show? I dont recall him ever being in daylight in Tas. that said there was seldom daylight in Tas.

That's because he doesn't mind it as much as I do.
You people are always so angry when I express an opinion differently from yours. I don't rejoice overtly at the trailer, instead saying that it's just pretty nice, which I thought it was, you call me a buzzkill and tell me to leave.
Nolan certainly loves Batman. That much is clear to me.
I like seeing Batman in daylight (if it has to happen). Batman has said he is "whatever Gotham needs him to be." Showing up in broad daylight to save the day doesn't seem like such an stretch for Batman.

Yes he was in the daylight from the 60's show . I can't recall anything from TAS

Yeah, not really the most accurate portrayal of batman.
It's my stupid-ass browser. It'll sometimes take out random words out of quotes. I've been thinking of installing a different one, but all the rest are too slow for me.
I don't like Batman in daylight for the same reason I didn't like that the Green Lantern movie only spent 20 minutes at most in outer space. The character is way out of the environment he works best in. I wouldn't like a Captain America movie in space, or a Thor movie set in France. I wouldn't like a Spider-Man movie in the desert, either.
Is there a problem with thinking it's stupid to take a character out of his natural environment?

Yeah, not really the most accurate portrayal of batman.
TAS had a few instances of it:

That's a nice way of looking at it. So now Gotham needs him to fight by their side out in the open - in daylight. It's like Batman is redefining himself after recovering from his beatdown at the hands of Bane.
Now, after training physically and psychologically, Batman is fully confident and ready to fight at all times, no matter when. He'll do whatever it takes to protect Gotham. It will also help the citizens look at him in a new light - accepting him as their saviour. The man - the legend - who shook them out of apathy.
When you haven't seen, heard, experienced the context...
Yes.
I was actually fairly disappointed with Bane and Catwoman at first, but then I realized that he's a pretty great villain to end the trilogy with. When you haven't seen, heard, experienced the context...
Yes.
I understand what you're saying. I don't care for the idea of Bane in general but, I suspended my biases, waited and was pleasantly surprised. I did not write it off as a failure based on nothing.
