I know you really want him to be a junkie man but there really hasn't been any indication that this version of Bane uses drug at all.

All we know is he has that apparatus for his face. The function of it is a mystery.

I though it was confirmed that the mask feeds him an anesthetic to dull the pain from whatever injury he has.

When they used the word "Epic" in the trailer, I immediately started thinking about that they may use tons of batman villains.

As a former addict (chewing 4 30mg oxycodne HCL's with my pancakes) I can tell you this... when he's doing all the physical stuff, he has the mask on, and without, I can attest that there are moments during the sickness when you're in so much pain you want to slam your fist through something out of sheer desperation/rage. IDK, probably not an addict, but just food for thought. I do enjoy speculating and imagining him as a strung out, give me my fix or I'll wring your neck junkie.

But again...he's too accomplished and functional to be a 'junkie'/addict in that respect. And if for some reason he does have that sort of dependency...it ain't exactly a weakness if he can still do as much as he does. I think it's more like the cold for Mr. Freeze...something he may need, but not something he is abusing like a drug.

I second that notion. A ensemble of baddies backing up big daddy Bane would be to thrilling for words. Nolan is the master of keeping my seat 90% unfilled in the theater. During Inception I was so anxious that I was rocking both legs and my wife had to get up twice. It was just literally PURE INTENSITY.

Also, Kalmart... couldn't have said it better. Just like mr. freeze. It doesnt hurt him to not have, but DEF improves him to have it. Thats what I want, but Id also like to see him WIG OUT without it.

I don't think Nolan would shoe-horn anything into one of his stories, much less villains for the sake of having more villains. He's got enough F-you cred and imagination to do what he likes and the addition of someone like Black Mask would only serve the story.

Well, if it is Venom like the comics, it's an added steroid-like boost...which to me cheapens things a bit, honestly. From the sounds of it, is is a health thing like the cold and Mr. Freeze...but maybe like Freeze uses the technology for his weapons as well, there could be some connection in Bane's case. Do you guys think that the man on Tatalia's right is the same man from the prologue who handed Bane over to CIA? If so, it would seem Bane and Tatalia are definitely working together.

a big and realistic theory is that Batman defeats Bane inside the city hall and than Miranda Tate shows up as a villain. so maybe Miranda Tate is now the leaeder since Bane is defeated? it would explain why Bane's number 1 henchman comes out without Bane but walks next to Miranda.

we dont want it to happen but they didnt film Bane walking into one of the 3 tumblers.

Think? That is the same man. The actor is Josh Stewart. He seems to be Bane's right hand man. There's tons of set photos with them both.

Finally caught the Imax prologue. Love Bane. Nailed!
You get the confident master tactician traits of his character all from those 6 minutes.
MI4 wasn't bad either... Trailed off a bit in the final third tho.

Exactly. Even in the trailer, when Bane's walk toward the camera you can see that the henchman behind him is Josh Stewart Also, in the reel sizzles after the prologue, when Bane comes out the City Hall, you can see Josh Stewart at the right (not in the bootlegs tho, but I saw him in IMAX), preparing to do reports(I guess).So, I think we can assume that he's Bane's right hand.

Bane and Batman fight on the stairs and walk inside. something happens inside. catwoman on the batppod drives out of the city hall down the stairs. the police look up and cheer. than they filmed Miranda Tate coming out with Bane's number one guy. after all of this the chase begin. batpod/3 tumblers/truck/batwing. they didnt film Bane walking outside in the tumbler.
