Just cool to see him tweet about the movie. As minimal as he did.

^That seems to be it. Or things going into the ****ter, if the title is to be taken as the others were. The Dark Knight Rises = Things go to the 10th level of Hell, then begin to get better at the end. The Dark Knight = Things begin to crumble, as seen with Joker's rip through the Underworld and destruction of Gotham's White Knight.

Ok, i couldn't find it for looking at threads, but by the teaser, are we to assume Gordon knows who Bruce is now? that seems the way it plays out.

Unrelated to that, someone posed an interesting idea to me. What if Gordon gets broken in this movie? Like we all speculate Batman and such, but at the end here, it seems Gordon is the one to keep the faith in Gotham, to hold the torch as the hero Batman cannot be right now. So taking him down would also help to bring down Gotham. But its just an idea and all.

I hope the ninjas don't get him!

If you can reach this conclusion, then it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility that whoever wrote the "script" could reach the same conclusion and stay away from main characters in an attempt to look more plausible.

However, if they'd really REALLY wanted to be plausible, they could have written something less awful.

what's so awful about it? the grammar mistakes? I read hollywood scripts daily as part of my job, and I can assure you I've yet to encounter a script without grammar mistakes.

or are you turned off by the esoteric things going on? Let me remind you that the League of Shadows practices some unusual rituals. This scene takes place right after they destroy a village and a new member takes the mantle of being Ra's Al Ghul. Guess who?

No. Bruce is wearing a ski mask while visiting Gordon in the hospital. But he's in the Batman persona.

And since Batman is wanted for murder, and Bruce doesn't want to give away to Gordon that Bruce is Batman, he decides not to wear the suit, and just have a ski mask and regular business suit on.

Gordon doesn't know Bruce is Batman.

Just wanted to speculate on something a lot of us seem to have forgotten in the past months.....

With the announcements of:
- Ra's Al Ghul returning in some form
- Bane
- Catwoman
- Miranda Tate/possibly Talia

We have seem to have lost some sight of one of the BIGGEST aspects in the Nolan-Batman world as of yet.....

Harvey Dent.

How will his legacy be dealt with? Will it be dealt with? Clearly we NEED to see Batman clear his name....but will it come at the expense of Harvey? It's a fine line, to do it in a way that is not cheap, or that doesn't cheapen the impact of the end of The Dark Knight. Any thoughts on how we will see this unfold/fit in the film that already has so much going on.

This is something I really am curious about...just as much as I am the treatment of Bane or Catwoman.... Harvey Dent/Two-Face is a pivotal Batman character and if they are going to kill him, in the dramatic fashion they did...his death and the impact of it should still resonate and be felt...out side of a simple namedrop.

Thoughts?

Batman is selfless. If people get a clear look at this quality they will know, even without an alternate answer to the killings.

Gordon doesn't know Bruce is Batman.

I'm curious how you know he's wearing a ski mask?

I assumed he doesn't know because he's not wearing his glasses. There's a flash of something that looks like a blurry Bruce around the part where Gordon says "he must".

There were set photos from the hospital a few weeks back, where someone wearing a ski mask is seen, which was most likely Bruce.

Look into the photo thread I think it's on the first or second page.

Edit: Found it.

But where was the Bat-Voice when Bruce Wayne was talking back in the trailer. The voice wasn't "gruff" enough to be Batman IMO. Although who is to say the responses are actually from that conversation I suppose and just mashed together for the trailer.

Who knows..........well Nolan does! He he he

Maybe they listened to criticisms and toned it down.

Besides, it was the same whisper he used in Begins when he was wearing the ski mask.

Plus the fact he's probably not supposed to be in Gordon's room, so he's being as quiet as he can.

The bad grammar doesn't help, but the quality of the writing is shoddy in general.

Watched the teaser about 44 times by now and it seems like perhaps there's somebody a person dressed in military clothing maybe pointing a gun towards the direction of Bats in the last clip where we see Bane walk up the stairs.

So we have all heard.

Hahaha, gotta love how it almost feels like Joe is one of us with tweets like this :awesome:

On Dragon's link in the shoot update they talk of Squib hits, did we see that kinda portrayed violence in TDK?

Well no...

But squibs aren't limited to being flesh, there's snow so bullet impacts on the snow to make it jump up would be squibs as well

Wow, thanks for that :D
Aww, I'm a little disappointed though. I wouldn't mind Gordon knowing.

I wonder why he chose a suit for his ninja gear though? Must be some pretty interesting circumstances.

I think the fact that Gordon doesn't know his identity but is probably one of the most trustworthy people that could have said information really shows what an awesome relationship there is between him and Batman.

Then release the Batman one. Marvel is supposedly having a massive viral during CC, and WB wouldn't want to be left behind, i hope :oldrazz:

TDKRises has nothing to fear about Avengers. Hell, Spidey is out the week before us, and he will have the worst second week ever for a franchise because of Batman...
