Just me or does the fighting look just like the Arkham games?

For a mobile game, it looks pretty cool. I may check it out when its released.

Well I never said I was "leaving" yet, I said I'd be less frequent. Early July is around the time i'm avoiding this site, hell most of the internet, like a plague. I'd suggest others of you who can muster the willpower do the same.

Thanks for the greeting! Well, at least I am popping in now and again for now. Rag's been unbanned and he hasn't dropped by at all, a shame really. This place is too quiet now. To think we're almost at Part 100 finally, but most of the people who helped get it there won't be present.

I don't know what I hate more. Trailers that spoil everything (Avengers) or trailers that mislead (Drive being portrayed as a fast paced thriller/Hot Fuzz being portrayed as an action film)

I dislike the ones that do both (Prometheus), then again "hate" is a strong word for something awesome.

And yes, it's about time there was some news. I'd prefer the viral marketing stepped up or the main site got updated to a theatrical version as opposed to new footage, though.

I don't really like these TV spots, aside from the small Fox and Selina parts, the rest of it goes by too quickly. Lines are shortened and it just feels like they're cramming in too much, even though the same things are repeated in other trailers.
I appreciate any new footage, of course.

What twist?

For Prometheus, I saw the teaser trailer after knowing nothing about the movie, and said to myself, "SOLD" - and refused to watch any subsequent trailers or promotions. Went in clean t: - so I'd be interested to know which major twists were given away.

that the site that they explore is really a ship.

Yeah it is but the trailers makes it seem like action beginning to end non stop whereas in reality its literally the last twenty minutes. And yeah its a great film t:

No problem!

Prometheus didn't really do either. It spoiled one thing of importance. And it didn't mislead all that much. Was it less of a horror film than portrayed? Sure. But still. Not awful.

I enjoyed Prometheus. And nah, I do think it spoilt things, in terms of money shots I really wish they'd have held back more, you know? As for Prometheus I wasn't too disappointed in less of the horror element, i'm no alien fan, but the way the trailer was cut was definitely misleading in that respect.

Nah I'd rather have another Arkham game than a half-assed crappy liscenced film tie-in game. The Arkham games are amazing IMO but don't seem to be liked here...

Not at all, i've always admitted I enjoyed the film. It didn't really stick with me much after the initial viewing though, i've felt very lukewarm about it ever since. The backlash is of course ridiculous from some, but I also wouldn't daresay I liked it enough to put it on a pedestal either like some have been doing.
