ChrisB, how about that Batcave?

The Batcave looked cool. Pretty simple. Just had his computer, and gear in a box that popped up from under the water. He kept the Bat in there too.

Now you're placing words into my mouth.

In no way am I putting words in your mouth. Sorry it seems that way. But I'm hard pressed to figure out how you'd pull that from what I'm saying. Certainly you are also on this message board and see the posts I am referring to.

Why is that a plus? Didn't he like The Dark Knight?

He dislikes the CBM 'renaissance' as a whole and he is far more likely to give TDKR a rotten than Dargis. Plus he recently twitted an editorial about his feelings of CBMs and it wasn't pretty.

Out of eight Top Critics on RT (so far.) only Lemire has given a negative review, so not many agree with her assessment.

I feel like these critics are comparing TDKR too much to TDK, and are not looking at it as it's own film. For example, if the Avengers 2 is pretty much the same movie, it won't get a 92%. Critics expect a better movie from Nolan each and every time, and it's getting tough because he has done nothing but put out incredible work.

Chris, can you please put your responses in spoiler tags, or take them in the spoilers thread? :(

85% on RT? I'm fine with that yo.

Right now, 35 /41= 85 %

To get a 92 %,

we would need another 35 positive reviews so that, 70/ 76= 92 % (approx.)

Difficult.

Quite do-able with 100+ more reviews coming.
Not a big deal, but I believe he was referring to Chris' description of the Batcave.

You mean, everything we have seen in trailers and spots?

All this negativity reminds me of that one scene in Independence Day when they decide to Nuke the alien ships and there's two guys posted outside in a vehicle that are supposed to confirm whether the nuke was successful.

Only in my version the Alien ships are big huge words that say Third Movie Curse.

Do we see the batcave quite a bit, Chris?

Some people were saying (based on trailers) that Anne looked like she was trying too hard and giving a forced performance, some even said that she was the weakest actor. So it is good to hear from ChrisB that was good in the movie.

That analogy literally just blew my mind.

"Target remains...I repeat, target...remains..."

The only indication of that, that I have seen at least, is how she delivers the 'You don't stand a chance against these guys' line.

Yeah, but we know exactly what the cave looks like. Its been in plenty of trailers, now.

I thought there might be more to it, now I know there isn't. That's a spoiler. Besides, someone asked "How's the Batcave" - apparently not everyone knows exactly what it looks like, or at least not completely.
