But...his public image in most cases is the "playboy imbecile". It's nothing new.

Yea, I'm just saying throughout the trilogy it would have been nice to see Bruce 'grow up' from his persona in begins, to being more of a philanthropist who has matured.

But then again, that basically takes the idea of 8 years as a recluse away.

The best way I can look at it is:

Fraud would have been proven. Bruce cleared of doing a stupid stock exchange move.
Public image improved with Wayne Manor being used as an orphanage in his will.

Eh, I guess its just me.

I would have rather Bruce been outed as Batman post 'death' and the statue been maskless. or just bruce.

Wayne Manor being used as an orphanage means that there will be a slide connected to the cave. The Batman legend will live on forever lol

I'm not sure how to do it but it would've been nice if they figured out a way so that the "clean energy" project finally worked (without the danger of it being a bomb) and it would be Bruce's gift to Gotham in the end. Just something to remember him by...

Eh, I guess its just me.

Nah, it's not just you.

Well, at least the manor went to the orphanage. That's at least something. I still would've preferred it though if Bruce's status as a philantrophist was explored more. And by the time he "died", Gotham had good memories of the last member of the Wayne family.

Gotham had good memories of the last member of the Wayne family.

He wasn't the last though. In the background when the bomb is being hooked to The Bat, you can see little fetus Damian hopping out of the truck and strolling along.

I forgot about that!

they do have good memories... like that time during crisis, he decides to wreck his lambo in a major intersection. A**hole.

I was all for Bruce being outed as Batman as well before the movie came out. I would have done certain things differently to what they are as well, however the movie is what it is, and isn't changing. At the moment I'm looking at it from the perspective Batman victories do have that sense of hollowness and bittersweetness about them.

He doesn't care about his reputation. He cares about Thomas and Martha's. It's not like it reflects poorly on them, they were too busy being dead to do a bad job raising him.

How does the Stock Exchange screw-up work anyway? Can they still file for it being a fraud if Bruce is "dead"? If they can and it was proven, where do all the money go? To the company? To Fox? To Alfred?

well when Gotham didn't need batman for 8 years, he could have been fixing his image.

Sorry I just dont like that Bruce died a joke.

it clearly went back to Bruce, since he now lives in Italy with Selina, and bought a deneuralizer from Agent J to ensure no one recognized him.

To the company I would think and Fox became CEO. Bruce probably had a ton of of other international bank accounts, trust funds and so forth...look, it's all a bit technical, but the important thing is that Wayne and Selina can live happily ever after in Italy. M'kay?

He didn't die a joke... because he didn't die. Everyone thinks he is, but he isn't, he's alive, and happy, and more than likely him and Selina are gonna continue the TRUE Wayne Legacy if you know what I mean. And that's all that really matters.

That's right, they're going to be shot down in an alley in Italy and their son Damian Auditore de FirenzWayne will avenge them

He appeared in public one time in the last 8 years and he's outside of America. I don't think people noticing him would be a problem. Even then, what does one person in Italy seeing a guy that strongly resembles Bruce Wayne matter? The world thinks he's dead and everyone that cared about him knows the truth so it's not like anybody would head a search for him. People would just shrug it off like the people who still claim to see Tupac or Elvis.

We have seen all this before, still the Wayne Enterprises was functioning (Bruce assumed to be dead by board members and many citizens of Gotham in Batman Begins.) I would say this time around things will be better as Fox will be the new CEO of the company.

Same thing happened at the end of TDKR, maybe Bruce Wayne can return back to Gotham again. (he will just have to make an excuse that he faked his death to escape Bane.)

Well, the film shows that he spent the first 5 years post-TDK doing philanthropic work, particular the energy reactor project, and only after that failed did he go into seclusion.
