Gauntlets, maybe. Gloves sure as hell aren't. The BB gloves make Batman look like he has fat hands.

So do I -- in stills. In motion it looks bad; especially when Bale attempts to contort any which way.

Yeah, it's pretty funny that they set out to end the "Bat-turn" with that suit, yet for Batman's big final line of the movie, he does a blatantly obvious one to face Gordon

But indeed, in stills is looks aces.

That's probably the biggest drawback to it and the biggest upper hand that the second suit has. I really like how big the Begins suit is and it was able to yield some truly iconic imagery, but it wasn't able to match that a lot of the time in motion. I think the opposite happened with the TDK/Rises suit where it looked better in motion on film and had the advantage of actually looking like it could do what it did as a suit of armor.

Maybe. But as we saw in the montage, Batman could have just danced his way around the bullets.

I walked down the toy aisle of ASDA the other day and noticed the standee for TDKR figures had the BB suit Batman all over it, im not sure why.(yes it was a TDKR standee)
