Justice League was thought out before Avengers. They only put a hurry on the script because Avengers was a success. Ill give credit where credit is due but Avengers didn't start it all. Plus, the idea of putting Batman & Superman together on film has been a concept for decades.

I know they restarted the script but the concept of it has still been there for quite some time.

It doesn't matter which was thought of before the other. The immense success of the Avengers has the WB sprinting swiftly through its pre-production process trying to catch its own lightning in a bottle, the result of which may lower the ceiling of its potential quality.

Of course WB is trying to speed up the process on this project, other than MOS they have no other large superhero film on their slate, and though hopeful we're still not sure how well MOS will do in the box office.

Bruce comes back after a hiatus with Selina, and they take "Robin's" place to join the JL!

I would l-i-t-e-r-a-l-l-y die.

Catwoman is going to be part of the JLA next year, so why not? hah

Who said that Catwoman was going to be a part of the JL?

In the comics. A secondary JLA with Green Arrow, Steven Trevor, Martian Manhunter, Hawkman, Vibe, and Stargirl.

The main League in the comics is Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg, and Shazam.

Thats not what I was asking, I was asking what article confirmed CW for the JL film. Must be I misread the statement.

Who said that Catwoman was going to be a part of the JL?

She'll be one of the members in the Justice League of America (not the main Justice League) this February or March. I forgot the exact date.

Comics, not the JL movie.

I have faith in the script, regardless of Justice League being rushed cuz of Avengers or not. The guy writing it did Gangster Squad, and even though we havent seen it yet, it looks promising. The guy is a different kind of writer. Crime writer i believe? And people have commented on his JL script and how it's different from Avengers or what we would expect.

Opening scene is Bruce and Selina breaking in at LutherCorp. :o :p

I'm pretty sure we can rule out Catwoman being in the JL film.

I've never liked "super" heroes, so Justice League never piqued my interest. Let alone with a rebooted Batman so soon, after Bale's wonderful performance. So, if they only way WB can have their cake and eat it to - is with "John Blake" as Batman in the new JL film, then I'd be alright with that.

Justice League: Mortal was thought of before Avengers, but it doesn't take away the fact that Warner Brothers is still trying to go through a speedy process with all of this to just throw out a Justice League film without giving it some thought. I don't buy WB saying they have a good script for a JL film either when you have these iconic characters all in one film. It may very well be the best thing to do with going the opposite way Marvel Studios is, but even then, I still dread the film, especially now that Avengers has been released, it feels like WB is only trying to get this thing rolling as fast as they can without being patient.

Scrap this JL film, and give me my Batman vs Superman film, though.

I'd prefer a World's Finest over JLA.

Keep Christopher Nolan involved(as producer and maybe writer or co-writer) which will bring back Christian Bale as Batman and keep Snyder involved as the director and Cavill as Superman...doesn't even need to keep in continuity with Nolan's trilogy at all if Bale returned as Batman, because Bale is pretty much the definitive Batman for this generation, so just have him return regardless.

I definitely agree that a World's Finest with Bale and Cavill would have been the ideal cross-franchise film for DC.

Too bad it'll never happen.

they need to leave the nolan movies alone and try to do something different. I can only see the style of nolan if nolan is involved in the film, we know that will not happen.

Well we do sorta see "Nolan's style" with Man of Steel already, though. Who knows...maybe somehow Nolan could continue to be a producer for further DC films.

JGL for JLA? Nah. I don't want that at all.

True. I think you have WB and alot of fans, who can't accept that or don't want, the Nolan series to be totally over . Trying to keep it going via JLA and Blake as Batman is basically attempt to delay what will eventually happen: A non- Nolan Batmanverse.

Yes, its scary to start over again and try to come up with a new actor and new ideas , but its better then trying to cling to Nolan's characters or versions of character without him even being involved.

Guys I'm predicting and I hope you all will remember this, on November 27, 2012 that I predict that by the time Comic Con 2013 rolls around we will have confirmation of a Christopher Nolan directed and staring as Batman Christian Bale JUSTICE LEAGUE!!! I have this gut feeling that they are all keeping it hush hush until after the release of TDKR on Blu Ray!!
