TDKR Section Classic #1:

lol do you guys really think bens going to have a south american accent in a reelistic bat man movie?

ben: hello im ben.

bat man: ??? r u from south america or something?

It's quite interesting when Bruce was hallucinating/dreaming, Ra's did not deny Bane was his heir or child.

Bruce: Bane is your child. Your heir.
Ra's: An heir to ensure the LOS fulfills its duty to restore balance to civilization.

It makes sense though.

It was technically Bruce's own imagination conjuring that up. Wayne's mind honestly believes he's connected all the dots and that Bane is Ra's child. The hallucination then projects this wrong assertion.

Because it was just that, a hallucination. It was Bruce's subconscious making connections and using the image of Ra's to convey them to him. Ra's couldn't have denied it because he was in Bruce's head and Bruce didn't know that Bane wasn't the child of Ra's al Ghul.

Yeah. I was wondering more on how a living Ra's views the LOS in TDKR. Would he be as extreme as they are? Who would he consider as his true heir, Bane or Talia?

Talia, since he couldn't stand Bane.

I would say neither. If anything, I think if Ra's was alive, deep down, he would still want Bruce to be his natural heir.

I'm not sure if this has been pointed out, but during the stock heist, Bane's attire looks like the Red Hood.

The helmet right to the jacket. Did they do it on purpose?

I felt it was done on purpose as a little easter egg towards the fans. It was the first thing I noticed when that scene happened. Btw I just LOVE that shot of Batman looking around with all the cops showing up. Best shot on IMAX period.

Good times, good times. :lmao:

Old BB promo art

Woah...

It's from a UK games magazine promoting the release of the Batman Begins video game...

I have it lying around somewhere. It may have been the magazine guys themselves that whipped it up.

Whoa... can that be legit? Do you have the link to the actual IESB.net page?

It's legit, I had it saved on my PC since 2004 and in higher resolution.

That's nice! :) But it's the wrong track. The track used in the original is Aggressive Expansion.

I know because of the beginning and end. The beginning quiet part plays as Bane hangs from the plane with Dr. Pavel. Then the quiet part as Bane holds Batman's mask. Also if you play them side by side, you'll notice Aggressive Expansion is a lot more energetic.
Just pointing it out because that Imax sizzler might be my favorite "trailer" and I would love to see it recreated in HD. :)

Actually, it seems to be a combination of both versions. It has the loud energetic drums of Aggressive Expansion and the specific version of the rising 2 notes from Barbastella.
