Also everyone should watch this, it's a IMAX reel in 4k on youtube. (make sure it's on "original")

Hah that's cool. It's all part of the plan.

I guess they wanted a scene showing Bruce at the kitchen of the manor at some point:

I've always wanted one of those little island sinks so I could plug it up and fill it with tomato soup.

Just to see what it's like.

I didn't know where to put this, I figured here would be nice. It snowed on my town, it rarely does, me and my brother made this, I just wanted to share:

Have any bad extras ever stood out as much as this movie? Seriously

^ Compared to the last two movies? Haha, you must have been watching different versions that didn't have a SWAT member keep yelling "that's not good" or an old man continuously saying the water pipes are going to blow.

"It's simple. We melt the Batman."

Does anyone know what special forces patch the guys have on them in the opening scene? i'm about 90 percent sure its delta but I cant make it out for sure.

You guys want a laugh? Read Jett's "review" of The Dark Knight Rises. He spends the first few paragraphs lauding the film with every generic superlatives he can muster, but never does he even attempt to explain any of it, explain why he thought it was so good.
With the way that individual positioned himself in regards to Nolan, TDKR was never going to get anything less than A+. No matter what. I like TDKR, but not everything. People have written analysis critiques about the flick's plot points and decisions but you won't find that kind of thing submitted on his site in a million years. But his BR hate fest 'review' won't be coming down.

I love how it is full of obvious remarks. Like this one about Bane:

Jett said:
When he’s onscreen, pay close attention to his eyes and body language, trust me.

Oh thanks for the heads up Jett! I've been looking at the background or at the floor whenever Bane was onscreen. This time around I'll be extra sure to watch for Hardy's performance, which I hadn't noticed!

:funny:

Yeah I had a friend tell me he thought TDKR sucked and that Bane sucked, especially his voice. With artistic interpretations, one could discuss and learn something from. But when someone is just not on board with a Batman who retires or a Bane that sounds like that, there's just no changing their minds and it's best to walk away agreeing that you disagree.

It's legit, I had it saved on my PC since 2004 and in higher resolution.

lol i remember this promo it was for the video game "Batman Begins", how ironic that the name was foreshadowed long before we would even get a trilogy.

Reminds of a Kevin James joke from a stand-up special I can't find on Youtube.

Was just having a nostalgia trip and thinking over the movies. Man I love these movies so much. Batman Begins is such a breath of fresh air. The Dark Knight was so much fun. The atmosphere of grief and hopelessness of The Dark Knight Rises.

It feels like I can almost breathe in, and feel the cool air on my face in this scene.

I'm sure this has been discussed, but does anybody else think Bruce used the Bat to get back from the Pit? They establish that the autopilot had been fixed months ago, so it stands to reason that he could remotely input the coordinates into the Bat's system to come to his location.

Not really possible. How was Bruce able to input the coordinates unless he had a remote to do such in his stomach the entire time and he had to throw it up, or place discretely between his buttcheeks for five months, lol.

Obi-Wan?

FAIL.

Amen to that. :yay:

I'm pretty sure a dude who can fix auto-pilot on such an aircraft can use an internet cafe (or anything that uses online connections) to get a message to his super high tech device, haha. I just don't see why they would set the date of his fixing the autopilot so early unless it has another plot point. Obviously it's impossible to confirm anything, but this theory is the one that's the most plausible of any I've heard. Would love to hear some other ones though.

^ Then people will complain, if they read what you just said, that we didn't see Bruce going to a Starbucks to find a computer and put in the coordinates for The Bat to find him wherever he is at that time.

To be fair, the "5 months ago" line could be jumping ahead in time as well. I imagine it would have taken a while for Applied Sciences to reopen its doors after everything that happened.

Definitely not the worst theory I've heard though. I always like when Batman uses his aerial vehicle for international missions.
