Still my favorite scene in the whole trilogy. Gives me chills everytime.

A cool article SHH did on comic book visual references in the TDK trilogy. I do think they're reaching on a few of them though. But most of them are solid. They missed a few, too.

Yeah, some are definitely reaching. I always loved the Long Halloween reference with Batman, Gordon, and Dent on the rooftop. Such a simple homage.

To this day I'm still shocked we actually got Bane breaking Batman's back over his knee straight up from the comics. I really did not think Nolan was going to literally illustrate it just like the comics.

You know what...as much as I've been pro-neck mobility, seeing Kane's gif there...there's something about the Bat-turn that just feels right to me. Maybe it's just because it's what I used to as a kid, but I dunno...sometimes it makes his movements feel so grand and pronounced.

Yeah it's pretty cinematic. Out of all the Bat-suits on screen, the BB suit is my favorite one.

Depends who's doing it. Bale & Keaton did it well., It did look grand as you said, very bold. It makes you think that typical big, bold, broad shouldered masculine hero. But Clooney & Kilmer, not so much, it was too distracting and obvious.
