It is about time they merge the three Nolan Batfilms under one board, no? There isn't enough discussion going on the three boards for there to justifiably be three separate boards. It's time for the singular "The Dark Knight Trilogy" board.

The merger is inevitable (and natural). I'll be mourning the end of an era when it does though.

Next step after that will be it all just goes in the Batman World section.

Via the Sony leak madness...

“He treated the crew like s--t, demanded his own bathroom at all times and frightened people, as he famously had on Three Kings.” Atler, a journalist and friend of Lynton, alleged. “He grabbed one guy by the collar, cursed out people repeatedly in front of others and so abusedAmy Adams that Christian Bale got in his face and told him to stop acting like an a**hole.”

Batman defending Lois Lane from the guy who once put Chris Nolan in a headlock = justice.

All those years of reading the same Riddler Shadow of the Bat fanfictions, lost like tears in the rain. Suika to die.

That's very interesting since Amy already worked with him at that point. It's highly possible that she won't work with him again after this. It seemed like Bale and Russell were on good terms during press for American Hustle but i can totally see Bale getting in his face. Bale is actually the one who has reformed himself after the Terminator incident and id like to think he's pretty respectful on set nowadays, unlike David. And he knows when somebody is crossing the line cuz he's been there. It takes a hot-head to know a hot-head :woot:

Anyways, im sure there's some bipolar with David, since it runs in his family. Sooner or later J-Law is gonna feel his wrath if she keeps working with him.

Baleman is the hero we need AND deserve.

His Terminator outburst was blown way out of proportion. He lost his cool and acted like an idiot, but he owned up to it and the crew member said later that day Bale apologized and made amends.

You can bet actors flip out like that all the time on set. The only difference is Bale's rant was recorded and made public. I don't think it's affected his career though. I mean he won an Oscar after this.

It didn't affect his career because the Batman would choke them the f**k out, that's why. Fear is a powerful thing.

I love how Bale jokingly promising not to drop any F-bombs during his Oscar acceptance speech too. :funny:

Btw this reminds me, if Keaton wins...3 of the 5 cinematic Batmen are Oscar winning actors. Though Affleck also technically is, just not for acting. And Kilmer was robbed for Tombstone, not even getting a nomination.

Poor Amy... she seems really sweet and reserved. Good on Bale for standing up for her.

"A hero can be anyone. Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as standing up for an abused costar and telling a director to stop being an a*****e."

:p

My little nephew is a HUGE Lego fan, and since he's spending Christmas with his dad this year, he got to open presents from us before he leaves, and he got the Ultimate Collectors edition of The Tumbler, and he is flipping out. Heh, I don't think I've ever seen him so happy. The box is almost as big as him. :hehe:

Ah that's awesome, Trav. Did you buy him the Tumbler?

Aw, love it. That's basically the 2014 equivalent of getting a Turboman doll.

I chipped in $100 for it. It cost $300 total. Now I want him to get back soon, so I can help him build and play around with it. :woot:

The set is huge.

Nice one. Is your nephew destined to be a big Batman fan like his Uncle then?

Have you never splashed out the likes of $300 on anything Batman related for yourself? I know I have. Several times. Which reminds me; is anyone here getting anything Batman related for Christmas? I'm getting a couple of Batman t-shirts, Batman slippers, the Playarts Arkham Origins Joker, and this Harley Quinn bust/money bank: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/386887424211031683/

I've tried giving him tons of Batman stuff. He likes DC and Marvel characters for the most part, but he's obsessed with Legos, trains and Star Wars more than anything else.

Legos, Trains, Star Wars, DC, Marvel..... Your nephew is being guided on the right path, you must be very proud.

Is it really the right path? It's just the regular path that every little boy goes on.

Yeah he needs to go on the grounded in reality path.
