Yeah, the adapter is ridiculous. It's worse than the original one they had for the 360, and low and behold, this one is bigger and more clunky. I personally hate it, and the lack of support for a wireless mic.

Just increase the value of your controller. People who have the old Xbone controller already have headphone options obviously.

Kinect sucks. One thing the PS4 has on the X1, is the built in jack for the controller, and if you want a wireless mic, go get any Bluetooth headset out there. Why was this so hard to incorporate? So stupid that you have to buy $25 adapters for a wired solution, with no wireless option available. ****in ridiculous, if you ask me!

Yea the DS3 had a laundry list of issues. The DS4, not at all.

Altho, now that im thinking about it, and this was a shocker to me, but the D Pad on the DS4, what the f**k? I cant be the only one who thinks its awful. Playing Injustice with that thing is a damn chore, particularly trying the Down>Forward motions. The thing is far too stiff and unresponsive.

Thats cool. Would of rather them add in pre-orders and pre-loads for games though.

Know this was a few pages back but confirmed for September. First games to take advantage will be Fifa 15 and Forza Horizon 2. I think it's up to the publishers though, not MS, which games can do this.

Since the white Sunset Overdrive bundle is not any extra, I think I'm just going to go ahead and get it for sure. Get it and Evil Within for One at roughly the same time. Going into next gen less than I expected, but that white console, it calls to me. It needs to sit beside my black as coal Wii U.

Hm, that's interesting. I don't have any issues with X1s d pad tbh, it's actually quite responsive and very fluid. Iv never had an issue pulling off any moves in KI.

Yea it'll be a few years before they slim the thing down. It was what, 3/4 years before the orig 360 was slimmed down? I'd assume a similar time frame here

Wires aren't that long. I'm plugging mine in the back and setting it alongside the One. Easy peasy.

Exactly what I did. Nice and neat right next to my X1.

I'd rather use an external HD than replace the original. Wish Sony would give us the same option with the PS4.

I'm going with the One this time mainly because there's an exclusive title from my favorite developer (and it's an exclusive funded and published by MS, from my understanding, so it's most likely a true exclusive) and last gen I found I didn't really need both. The bulk of gaming I did was third party, and I don't know, I'm not as excited for some of the franchises like I used to be. I may end up with both, but it'll be a long time. The One and Wii U is all I'm going to need.

I bought my X1 knowing full well I was eventually gonna get a PS4. Like you, there's too many games per console I'm interested in and I'm not gonna miss out on em. Plus iv never not owned any Sony or MS console. Not about to start now

yeah, I guess it is a feasible option but I'm not getting any hint that microsoft thinks it a priority to mod the controller. just sayin. i actually haven't heard anyone else complain about it but i understand your frustration

Have you fully played on an X1 controller? Sure, it's similar to a 360 controller, but it's not nearly the same. First of all, it's smaller. So if you have big hands or long fingers, it can get awkward and crampy at times. Something that never happened with me on my 360. Second, the sticks are a lot looser than the 360. They feel more like the DS3 sticks, only shorter in length and diameter(which doesn't help anything). Third, and the most annoying about it, is the bumpers. Again, if you happen to have bigger hands/long fingers, these bumpers are a ****in nightmare. You can only press them in a certain spot. If you overshoot it, they wont register. For me, I have to press them where my first joint appears, close to the palm of my hand. I'm almost palming the bumpers, and it's hard to press sometimes. It's nothing like the 360 bumpers.

Here's a pic of what I'm talking about. For me, my finger goes far past the actual button itself(the tip of my finger will go past the home button), so I'm already far off from the red, let alone anywhere close to the green. Since I have such long fingers, the green space for me is closer to the palm of my hands. If you have small hands or fingers, this may not be an issue for you. My friend has the exact same issue with it, but his wife doesn't notice at all, because she has smaller hands/fingers.

Well, the white Xbone actually precedes the white PS4. If you go back some (I think it's in this thread) I posted white Xbones they gave to the MS launch team that were dated 2011. So, in the sense of making a white console, no. In the sense of bundling one, possibly.

no, i know the launch team got the white xbone and that's exactly it - it never seemed like they had plans to give it to consumers since the LAUNCH time, the xbox team behind it all, were the people who got it.

sony came straight out with the destiny bundle and a few months later microsoft decides their white xbone shouldn't be special anymore and offers it up to consumers (a few months AFTER the destiny bundle was announced)

Like I said, possible. It could be a coincidence. Generally, plans for these type of things are usually months in advance, and they already had the casts for white Xbones so it's not out of the realm of possibility that Sony and MS were thinking the same thing at the same time and Sony just happened to announce their bundle first.

It could not be, and just be a copy move, but honestly, does it matter? It's not really anything of importance.
