Possibly. I don't count anything out with Microsoft this holiday.

Everyone here (except me of course, and possibly one other guy) said there would be no more bundles for sure. Ha!

It would be interesting if they introduced some sort of "send in your box for an upgrade program".

Because, there will probably be 10 million bones "stuck" with a 500 GB drive come 2015.

Just wait until Halo 5 is revealed to be a 100 GB. That's going to become a problem.

Unless you really don't play it much you'll fill up the 1TB too before the gen is out so what's the difference? Lol. I have actually hardly played my X1 due to sudden time constraints but just from 2 bought games and 2 games that came with my console plus all the GWG freebies I'm making fast progress to filling it up. Can't imagine how fast it's going to disappear for a regular gamer (like I was this time last year ),and especially anyone who buys any other content aside from games.

well, it would take longer to fill up a 1tb drive than a 500gb one. Plus, getting a 1tb drive right off the bat would delay my purchase of an external drive.

if I just get the 500gb model, I have a feeling it will fill up fast with all the big games coming out in the next few months. so, I feel I'd need to get an external drive fairly soon.

I suppose I could always just delete the games I'm not actively playing. but, the X1 still takes slightly longer to install the games than the PS4.

looks like, initially, we'll be able to change the color or use art from an earned Achievement as the background. with more options down the road.

so, hopefully, that will lead to letting us use our own pictures as the background.

edit: and the video says that there will be an update later to the Media Player letting us use any image as our background!! YES!!!

2nd edit: and, once again, even in previewing their updates, MS BLOWS Sony out of the water!! A good, concise list that breaksdown the new features AND a nice little video discussing the update. Is that so hard, Sony??

but at this point, I'm 98% sure I want to get an X1. The big question is.......do I get the current 500gb one before the end of the year. or wait for the inevitable standard 1tb model.

with the Nov update adding background customization, I'm really pleased with how they've updated the X1. That plus the Media Player plus the more open way they preview and roll out their updates are the things that enthuse me about getting an X1.

the one remaining major feature I hope they add would be the ability to backup your game save files locally to either a USB stick or an external drive.

Nah, I've conceded that this thread is nothing but endless tech tech, often circular (I created a thread specifically for games), but I still wanted to point that out. It's like the last week every time I've come in here, 'Is there gonna be a 1TB Xbone by Christmas? Are you going to get a 1TB by Christmas? Could there be a 1TB Xbone Christmas, etc.' The only real answer to give is there may be, with odds being on not. I don't know why it has to be asked so much.

So I walked into Best Buy with the intent of getting a new X! game pad(was digging that BB exclusive blue armed forces controller) and a PS TV, but when I realized the game pad wasn't out yet and that the Wi Fi streaming of PS4 games on the PS TV blows, I ended up going with a 4 TB external HDD for my One.

I think I should be good on storage for now, hah.

Also, Iv now seen the White X1's in person and they are quite sexy. Well as sexy as any consumer electronics product could be. Think ill pass on the console but pick up a White pad when they become available for sale.

I went with WD. The dude at best buy said he had the seagate 4tb with his, but Iv heard WD was the way to go, so I spent the extra 40 bux and went that route

Nice! How much was that? Don't know if that will be enough for you to end of gen as you play loads of games and you've nearly filled up the 1st TB already right? Should be good for the next few year at least.

I've never sold an old phone, I really should if you can get that much for them. Oh yeah all this 1 TB talk has got me confused, if it's only 500GB you're up to (rather than 1TB) then 4TB should last a long time. If I was playing like last gen I'd probably be past 1TB. I think if I actually downloaded every XBLA arcade game and 360 DLC I own at the same time I'd have something like 500GB last gen. And if I installed my 500+ games who knows lol.

Yea and honestly the ONLY reason I was interested in the PS TV was because I wanted to leave my PS4 downstairs and stream my ps4 game to my tv upstairs but I heard doing that through wi fi is just way way too spotty. Quality dips and lag and what have u.

I'm eyeing the portable 2TB WD drive myself. seems to go on sale around $110, so hoping I can get it for < $80 around BF.
