Am i some hardcore Sony fanboy or was this really not interesting? I'm glad to hear it has a Blu-Ray drive, but everything else was just eh. I mean, we have to wait few weeks for those Xbox games.

I think it probably makes you a hardcore gamer.

The PS4 event was games games games. This X1 event...not so much.

that's why I said from what we know. Sony could very well have very similar or better features that they haven't talked about yet, but Im talking strictly from what was revealed at both shows

Ya I was saying that earlier. This is a lot like PS3's stuff at launch. Lots of talk of media hub ect. So that's why I wonder if it will really take off in that sense. Because it should be about games. Yes they will show games at E3. The problem is that is not their focus as a company. The PS4 talked about games games games, and giving devs the power to do that. Their entire focus was on games. MS has barley been that with this reveal. So I wonder if they are not focusing on it as much. I wonder how that will go over. E3 will be the big battle ground for sure.

they said nothing about Fios. Only provider I can recall was Comcast

I don't think that's really a concern. The media stuff was what attracted me to the PS3 early on but then they fell off and didn't really keep up whereas MS kept making gains and improvements in that area. These days you cant just be about games only. You have to be able to do more. The system that can push the perfect blend of both will truly excel.

Honestly this next gen tech demo of the CoD models and textures don't look overly impressive to me. Its better than MW3 but doesn't scream like a major leap

And I'm sure Sony will have lots of these TV types of features. But in the end it's still games that people spend that money on. That's where the money is made.
