That's why I'm slightly worried. PS3 did this at launch focusing on other stuff and not the most important aspect. Games. I'm so far not really that impressed. Too much TV stuff. I buy these things for games.

IMO, all these media functions are what make it stand out and Im thoroughly impressed. From what we know now, the X1, seems to be more appealing to a general audience than the PS4

Sony may continue to win out in Japan and EU, but I think MS will replicate its success here in the US. I don't think the PS4 will overtake the Xbox in this territory this upcoming gen

We don't know enough for that yet. At all. But yes this does seem to be focusing more on the general game aspects. Sports games. Lots of em.
