I really cannot stress how much I loathe reviews that casually spoil huge plot points without warning. I honestly hate critics sometimes, or at least these internet bloggers who don't really understand what film criticism is about and just lazily write a detailed synopsis and call that a review. Not only do you get paid to watch movies I want to see weeks before I do, but then you go ahead and ruin things for others that you had the privilege of enjoying with no foreknowledge.

How can World War Z have same rating as MOS (80 %), in fact WW Z has only 4 negative reviews out of 20 whereas MOS has 3 negative reviews out of 15 !

MOS: 12 positives divided by 15 (the total), equals 0.8.

WWZ: 16 divided by 20, equals 0.8.

people have to realize not to take negative opinions to heart they are just that opinions as you can see the contrast of reviews saying worse than returns all the way to best super hero film of all time alot of reviewers go into movies and especially man of steel with negative and positive biases

some people are gonna have negative biases towards the superman character who they think sucks and or is boring

negative biases towards Snyder's direction and style who feel he is just style

even positive biases towards returns or reeve superman when man of steel becomes the superman they weren't expecting or wanted

Not really. He was brilliant in the role. I know that's hyperbolic sounding, but I'm not exaggerating.

I hope that is the case when the dust settles. On some other forum some wet blanket wouldn't stop bashing him whenever MOS came up.

I forget if someone said it here but if it pans out that Reeve = Connery and Cavill = Craig I'll be happy.

(Cavill = Dalton wouldn't do, that means he's too ahead of his time to be appreciated by the majority now. I think they tried to go Routh = Brosnan but that didn't work out.)

Both. He was my choice before he was cast. After seeing him actually in the role, he exceeded my expectations.

He embodies the character in personality and looks. Oh, and his voice. It's perfect. He comes off confident and commanding, but not *****ey.
